I booked a last minute holiday, had my nails done with a very neutral colour to make things less noticeable for breakage and growth …. so my toes were open to colour! Chose Play Date at the airport, what an amazing colour, not in your face, subtle, classy and blends with virtually everything, plus looks great with a tan. Love Love Love it. I would say it's slightly darker than showing on here, a bit more of a lilac than a pinky tone. Very glossy and just looks amazing just as good as having them done but less than half the price. I would definitely recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie's Blanc is a true bright white with smooth application and minimal streaking. It levels well, dries fast, and reaches full opacity after two coats with a glossy, clean finish. The brush glides easily and makes it simple to get an even look. I get the best results with a base coat, and with a top coat, it wears well on my nails and even longer on my toes. It's great for French tips, nail art, or a full white manicure, and the vegan, 8-free formula is a nice bonus. It's a classic, crisp white that works for both everyday looks and more detailed designs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! It's perfect for my blank nails if I want french tips! It goes on smooth and is pigmented with one coat! It also dries pretty fast as well which I love! So far my nails have lasted a while too so it has good wear! Gonna get some other colors because it's honestly really good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love Essie mademoiselle the packaging is elegant and classic , making it easy to recognize in my nail polish collection . The soft pink shade is beautiful. The texture is smooth and lightweight , allowing for easy and streak-free applications In terms of performance, the polish dries fairly quickly .and leaves a glossy, salon-like finish. It wears well for several days with minimal chipping when used with a top coat. One thing I noticed is the subtle sound of the brush against the bottle neck, which feels sturdy and well-made when opening and closing the product. As for compatibility, this shade works beautifully with all skin tones and is perfect for both casual and professional occasions. It also pairs well with different nail lengths and styles. Overall, Essie Mademoiselle is a timeless, versatile nail polish that delivers a clean, polished look, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a soft , sophisticated pink shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not the best at painting nails as you can see from the photo but the color is good. It wasn't too thin but did have to apply a second layer. The polish held pretty well with a clear top coat with no chipping and dried pretty fast.
Since using this base coat, my nails are peeling away! I have had the same reaction to UPI base and polish, so I do not use that brand. Essie has been my sole nail care for several years. I loved, loved Essie Smooth-e base. Why has it been discontinued??? Can you advise regarding finding an Essie base formula that won't damage my nails?
Awful brand polish does not dry at all even after an hour of letting it sit meaning if you do anything the polish will clump and you will have to do all your nails again awful products do not buy
I, too, am disappointed with the color change. I'm also disappointed with the generic answers I see from Essie. For the sake of greed and profit, Essie has changed a classic staple product. It used to be a subtle natural pink, now it's giving cheap bubble gum pink. Since I don't want to be let down again, I am finished trying any more colors.
In my recent purchase of this shade “bikini so teeny” I am really disappointed as the shade is changed under the same name. This is one of my favourite blues so it is always in my collection. But a total different shade of blue not even close to original. Disappointing!!!
Truly a disappointment in colour. Had to buy it online but it is way more brown then the milky maeve I was so looking forward to. Why can you not display your colours accurately. Please don't say it's about the way it's downloaded cos it's not. Very deceiving
