Estilo Glass Single Mason Jar Beverage Drink Dispenser With Leak Free Spigot 2 Gallon

This worked perfectly for me for brewing kombucha! I do wish the dispenser was a little less tough, but it's still great!

I bought one of these jars to use for continuously brewing my kombucha tea. Granted I purchased a food grade 304 stainless steel spigot to replace the plastic version that comes on the dispenser and therefore never used the supplied spigot. For the size and price, I could not find anything else locally that would work for my needs. The supplied spigot did seem to be made well, but the acidity of kombucha would eat away at the plastic parts.

I was very disappointed because at that high of a price, that the spigot is cheap plastic, it's installed correctly but it leaks , plus I feel like regardless of gentleness- it's soon going to break & fall apart in my fingers. The jar itself is a nice size, but that's the only nice thing I can say. So after paying that much, I'm going to have to search & hope I find a metal replacement - only adding to the expense as well as time now that we can't use it!!
