Great Hammer
I love this hammer. I felt that it was a little long but once I started using it I felt that didn't matter. The claw end is fairly straight in comparison with my 13" hammer and ripped the nails better form my boards. I bought this for my husband but told him he would need to order another one.

Estwing 22 ounce milled framing hammer
Excellent solid steel hammer. Weight of hammer is good for heavier framing jobs. Well balanced and excellent grip. Very good product made in the U.S.A.

Defective tool sold by Walmart
This is not a typical Estwing quality product. I'm not sure why Walmart will not upload a photo of the defective handle construction on this one sold by Walmart. I did however, take some photos of the sharp jagged edges protruding all around the handle grip and plan to email the manufacturer. Walmart should not be selling hand held tools with such manufacturer defects that were not inspected by a quality control.
