Our 2 yr old son has Epilepsy, and is being treated with keto therapy. His meals are under the supervision of a dietitian and doctors. However sometimes they use broad (general) food items in the diet. Example: B vegetables 22grams. The nutrition value is different in carrots, brussel sprouts, etc. The diet will say carbs, and protein for B vegetables are all the same. However, this scale is a game changer! It allows us to adjust the weight (g) he gets, to match his nutrition goals. Barcode scanner instantly recognized the foods in fridge and freezer. For those it didn't I was easily able to find an identical item. I would recommend this to anyone looking to set nutrition goals, track them and be successful in accomplishing such. The app has improved so much from the reviews I saw online and literally blew me away with it's capabilities. 100% worth every penny spent. Will be buying extras.

I am on a nutrition plan that requires me to weigh out the proper amount of food for my daily meals. I primarily use ounces to measure all my portions and this does a great job doing so. It's very precise and accurate. I zero out the scale when I place my container and then add my food. This avoids mess and makes for easy clean up. The display is easy to read and will also shut off on its own after a period of inactivity. This will extend battery life. The smart phone app you can pair it with is highly informative and easy to set up. The directions are clear how to set up via bluetooth, as it only took me about 5 minutes. This nutrition scale is highly recommended and is a staple in my kitchen to help my weight loss journey. It's a must have!

Excellent for identifying weight of food potion and nutrients within the respective weighed portion. Great for someone on a diet where certain nutrients must be limited. I.E. - Kidney Disease. (Example: Laws regarding nutrient disclosures do not seem to extend to Potassium. Therefore, someone on a limited potassium or sodium diet can have a difficult time assessing nutrients within a food portion. This device makes the effort tolerable.. While I do not use all the nutrient information. I believe that it lists all or most all food nutrients. Also lists Carbs, proteins, fats, etc in the respective amount of food weighed).

Setup is easy and there's an accompanying app to help you stay on a healthy track. This scale can weigh items up to 11 pounds. It is backlit, making it easy to read. It will turn off automatically which is handy. Overall, the scale is easy to use and very helpful in measuring my portions.

Love the idea and the device works as advertised. It's a nice time saver to drop the food on the scale, scan a barcode or search a food, then save directly to my food log. The problem is that at least half the time the food I am eating is not found and I end up having to enter all the nutrition info myself, which negates the time saving benefits I bought it for. Also, it would be nice if the app were more full-featured, like what's available in MyFitnessPal, and offered more integrations into other fitness platforms.

It would be nice if it tracked Net Carbs and also If I could accurately set my nutrition goals.... I can set my calories, the slider function doesn't allow me to accurately annotate my proteins and fats to be what I want them to be.... I can get one close but the other is way way... Ive found that I have to enter alot of my foods manually as they dont show up in the database.
