Our 2 yr old son has Epilepsy, and is being treated with keto therapy. His meals are under the supervision of a dietitian and doctors. However sometimes they use broad (general) food items in the diet. Example: B vegetables 22grams. The nutrition value is different in carrots, brussel sprouts, etc. The diet will say carbs, and protein for B vegetables are all the same. However, this scale is a game changer! It allows us to adjust the weight (g) he gets, to match his nutrition goals. Barcode scanner instantly recognized the foods in fridge and freezer. For those it didn't I was easily able to find an identical item. I would recommend this to anyone looking to set nutrition goals, track them and be successful in accomplishing such. The app has improved so much from the reviews I saw online and literally blew me away with it's capabilities. 100% worth every penny spent. Will be buying extras.

It is seamless and I like that about the scale. It is very accurate, I've compared it to my friends scale. It will be a great feature to my kitchen.

I am on a nutrition plan that requires me to weigh out the proper amount of food for my daily meals. I primarily use ounces to measure all my portions and this does a great job doing so. It's very precise and accurate. I zero out the scale when I place my container and then add my food. This avoids mess and makes for easy clean up. The display is easy to read and will also shut off on its own after a period of inactivity. This will extend battery life. The smart phone app you can pair it with is highly informative and easy to set up. The directions are clear how to set up via bluetooth, as it only took me about 5 minutes. This nutrition scale is highly recommended and is a staple in my kitchen to help my weight loss journey. It's a must have!

Setup is easy and there's an accompanying app to help you stay on a healthy track. This scale can weigh items up to 11 pounds. It is backlit, making it easy to read. It will turn off automatically which is handy. Overall, the scale is easy to use and very helpful in measuring my portions.

It would be nice if it tracked Net Carbs and also If I could accurately set my nutrition goals.... I can set my calories, the slider function doesn't allow me to accurately annotate my proteins and fats to be what I want them to be.... I can get one close but the other is way way... Ive found that I have to enter alot of my foods manually as they dont show up in the database.

Love the idea and the device works as advertised. It's a nice time saver to drop the food on the scale, scan a barcode or search a food, then save directly to my food log. The problem is that at least half the time the food I am eating is not found and I end up having to enter all the nutrition info myself, which negates the time saving benefits I bought it for. Also, it would be nice if the app were more full-featured, like what's available in MyFitnessPal, and offered more integrations into other fitness platforms.

Just start to use. The wage is very nice, but some complain to the VeSync application 1. It is not so easy to identify the product to be connected.. 2. Only in English is working. Other nation user not familiar to the US food names. In the actual Google auto translate environment, the app should use the on spot translation. 3. The food searching is very slow ( my connection speed on Android is >300 Mb/s ). e.g the "watermelon" search took 2 minutes 4. Some normal food is not available. e.g. Maroni 5. Mixed food are not searchable e.g. Pizza. In the MyFitnessPal app these foods are available, but the size is given only Small, Medium, Big. How much gramm or diameter is Small or Big for you ? 6. In the normal life I do not want to add a food to Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, but test how much calories the particular food consist before eat. There must be a single measure option. 7. Among the menu items there is the Wellness option. However the VeSync not able to connect to any 3rd party Bluetooth equipment, like Cloudmed pulse/blood pressure meter. 8. The VeSync has no downloadable individual manual. There is a lot of feature, not enough to read once all.
