Good product. As long as you take your time, prepare the area before installation it works great. However, I must admit we have not had a hard rain to really test the patch, but the seal seems to be pretty good.
Came as described. Eternabond is a great product and I didn't need 50 ft of it. 10 feet was perfect and so was the price and came a few days earlier than originally projected.
Works great, great price and fast delivery.
Exactly what I needed to finish the repair of a small hole in our pop up
quick delivery product as described
I have a feeling the seller has updated the listing to indicate that shorter lengths of this tape are cut from a larger roll, hence the reason it doesn't come in sealed factory packaging. But rest assured, this is the real stuff. I needed 4" wide to cover the front seam of my RV and the 10' length was perfect. Thanks to the seller for providing shorter lengths so I didn't have to spend money on extra tape that I did not need.
You can buy varying amounts of Eternabond from numerous sources but the service provided by DTL Direct sets them apart from others I've used. Primarily, the material is loosely rolled and then enclosed in a small box that helps preserve the material and avoids wrinkles and premature activation of the glue, which makes the protective plastic layer hard or, in some cases, impossible to remove without damaging the glue surface. The last purchase I made from another source came in a flat rate envelope with the material tightly rolled. The result was I couldn't use the last 3 or 4 feet because the material was kinked/wrinkles to the point the glue had been activated and getting the plastic removed caused some of the glue to come off with it. This resulted in areas of the material having little to no glue left. First picture is Eternabond purchased elsewhere. Last 3 or 4 feet totally unusable. Second pix is product from DTL Direct. Note Loose roll. No wrinkles. DTL Direct ships product in its own box then inside a flat rate envelope. No damage. Placing another order right now!!
Arrived promptly. As advertised. Apparently fresh stock. Only issue: this is pressure sensitive/activated tape and shipped in an envelope through USPS. Could have been "activated" by the USPS handling? The roll was a bit flattened, but seems to be ok. A box would have been safer.
I am sure that the product I received was in fact "Eternabond" tape, as it can on a cut roll 4" X I believe 10' and a business card. The Item received was not what was pictured on the add, with the pictures and scan link for instructions. I have no issue with selling the item as I received it, but when I buy a listed product advertised, I expect that product. Sent my comments to Walmart if they care to read it.
