Ethical Bean Sweet Espresso Medium Dark Roast Fairtrade Organic Whole Bean Coffee, 12 oz Bag

Fresh Espresso at Home I had the opportunity to try the ethical bean coffee and there are so many varieties it was hard to choose; I chose the whole bean sweet espresso as my first choice. Upon opening, the vacuum-sealed bag emanated the freshness and sweet aromas of what was soon to be a delicious cup of freshly homemade espresso. I gently ground the whole beans with my coffee bean grinder and made a cup of espresso that was strong upon first sip with little to moderate acid and full of deliciousness. This medium roast is vibrant and has notes of chocolate and nuts, and is deep and creamy. If you like your espresso strong these Guatemalan beans can stand on their own. What I loved and found interesting is that ethical bean provides much more than a cup of espresso or coffee, they go as far as providing a scanable QR code on each bag that will give you the details and origin of the fairtrade organic beans. This coffee is amazing!  As soon as I smelt the bag, I knew I was hooked.  It tastes just as good as it smells!  I am very happy I decided to try this coffee out.  Also, it's pretty cool the way you can trace your coffee from field to cup.  Easily by going online and tracing your bag of coffee!!

I love coffee and very loyal to specific brands, but my loyalty has changed to now include Ethical Bean Coffee. The sweet espresso coffee was absolutely delicious and the love the fact that it is organic. The beans were roasted perfectly and the smell when grinding was superb. Ethical Bean Coffee is fair trade which I like. The packaging is well made and was easy to open and close. There is a QR code on the packaging that lets you know where the coffee was grown, when it was roasted and how it was scored. Recommend this coffee, oh yea! I found the flavor of this coffee to be deep and rich In flavor with a nice sweet finish. I like it both cold and hot!! Love the smooth taste never bitter. I have been using this for years. I started usin this when I was a hair stylist, and you could only purchase Paul Mitchell products in a salon. I keep my hair short now, but it gives my fine hair body and keeps it in place! Needless to say, for me this is the best hairspray and I love it!

Sweet Espresso by Ethical Bean was done right! The taste of this blend is on point! It has now become one my favorite roast. I've been a fan of the company because of it's B Corporation certification as well as their participation in Fair Trade Coffee. Another plus is that this beans are organic. I prefer my coffee in beans so I can grind them myself, right before I am ready to brew. Doing this gives you the opportunity to get the best smell during brew, but more importantly, the best taste from the beans you just finished grinding. I believe most coffee aficionados would agree. Just another detail that Ethical Bean thought about when putting together their coffee. This particular flavor, Sweet Espresso, gives you rich, flavorful cup with excellent body every time. Also, it has no bitterness, which is great for those with sensitive stomachs. I've tried other Ethical Bean flavors, but this is definitely my favorite. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed by any means. If there is a downside to this outstanding coffee, it would be the size of the bag. I wish it would come in a bigger size. I order two bags so I don't have to re-order that quickly. Sweet Espresso...gets five stars for being a great company doing business the right way, but even more, bringing a great tasting product to the us, the end consumers. I highly recommend it. I'm a sucker for a good cup of coffee. Drink a cup or two daily -- and always open to trying new beans. The Sweet Espresso flavor of Ethical Bean, while isn't one of my top options is surprisingly good. Smooth, not too acid. Flavor closer to medium light, than medium dark, but still well-pronounced. The ability to trace coffee's origins is pretty cool. The only negative I see is while there's a "Best Before" date, there isn't a way to tell when the batch was roasted. I feel this is something that is needed for a brand that positions itself as higher end. Note: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

There's nothing better than a freshly ground cup of coffee in the morning. The ethical bean blend is nice and smooth and I like having the option for a variety of unique flavors. This review was collected as part of a promotion and the opinions are my own.

I liked this coffee but I thought it would be stronger honestly because it is espresso. The flavor was great. I was just hoping it was a bit stronger. The fact that it is ethically sourced and organic is a huge win though. The packing is a winner as well.
