Ethique Bar Minimum Unscented Shampoo Bar for Sensitive Skin - 3.88oz

At first I was skeptical - I've always used bottled shampoo and was unsure how well a bar would work, but decided to give it a go after seeing an ad on Facebook. I'm really, REALLY impressed. My bleach damaged hair was soft and shiny after using this and the plain conditioner bar. It has retained moisture, it didn't leave fragrance in my hair (I hate lingering fragrance), and I feel good about not buying more plastic. I got my mum to try it too, and she's very impressed, so I'll be ordering the same for her too. So glad I found this, Thankyou for this amazing product!

I have curly hair and eczema and it's always been a struggle to find a shampoo that is suitable, let alone eco friendly and sustainable. I've been using it for a few weeks now and my hair and scalp are out here living their best life. Easy to use, easy to rinse out, gentle, leaves my hair clean, and kinder to the planet. I think it'll last for a long time too because you can barely tell I've used much of it.

Great shampoo, leaving hair feeling nice and clean. I find I don't need to wash my hair as often (can even wash once every 4-5 days now) and have less dandruff. I previously used Heali Kiwi which would leave some bits and pieces in the hair, so even though I miss having a nicely fragrant shampoo, it's nice to have one for sensitive skin that is solid.

My shampoo bar lasted over 6 months and would have lasted longer if my husband and son hadn't discovered it when travelling. I do have short hair which may explain part of the reason, but it lasted way longer than I expected it to. I am ultra-sensitive to perfumes so this is perfect for me - no smell!

I was getting sore spots and an itchy scalp from my HiBar shampoo bar. I also use ethique's frizz wrangler, so it could have also been from that but it's hard to tell. I got the bar minimum mini in my last order, and I'm so happy that ethique has a fragrance free, sulfate free bar now! It's exactly what I needed. I've only used it once, but so far so good! I'll try to update later after I've used it more.

I have been using this shampoo bar for a month. I have previously used the St. Clements and the Heali Kiwi shampoo bars. For reference, my scalp is oily but my hair is curly and dry. I was looking for a shampoo that was not too drying on my scalp or too moisturizing (makes my scalp greasy). The bar minimum is a gentle shampoo with no scent. Depending on how much build up I have, sometimes I wash my scalp a second time to ensure it is clean. I like how the shampoo does not dry out my hair or scalp. My hair looks healthy and shinier.

I use Bar Minimum shampoo bar as part of a low-poo regime for my hair. The ingredients are suitable for curly girl method (CGM) and I find it works well to gently cleanse my hair without stripping it. Easy to use, just lather up on wet hair! This bar is unscented

I loved the way my hair felt after using this product. I have been trying several different bars and this was the next one on my list and I was very hopeful it would work as I liked how it was unscented. Unfortunately, the product caused my skin to break out anywhere my hair touched so I am still looking for the perfect bar soap for me.

I was really excited to try this sulphate-free shampoo bar as I���m trying to be as cgm-friendly as possible, however after a number of uses I just can���t seem to get it to work for me. While the reduced lather is to be expected, I can���t get the bar to lather *enough* to properly moisturise my long curly hair. It cleanses my scalp without stripping my hair which is fantastic, but then I find my roots to be oily the next day (when usually I can go 2-3 days before washing it). I���ve used sulphate free shampoos for a while now so I���d say it���s unlikely my hair isn���t used to it, though this does occur with some of them (perhaps they���re just not for me). Overall, using the bar has considerably elongated my (already long, lol) shower time, as the reduced lather and not instantly-moisturising formula means I spend a lot longer trying to work the product through my lengths enough to properly moisturise and untangle them, and even then they don���t feel as nourished as usual. It is such a shame and I really wanted to love this bar, but it has honestly made washing my hair more of a chore and I don���t think I���ll continue to use it on my hair (I���m sure it���ll make a decent body/face wash though). Giving 2 stars as my hair is very picky with shampoos and sadly I shall be adding Bar Minimum to a long list of those vetoed by my hair!

i've been using ethique for a while and whilst at first it made my hair incredibly soft and non-greasy, over time it began to make my hair dry. but this shampoo is a different story. i could only use it twice before deciding there was simply no point as it literally was not cleaning my hair. it has NEVER been greasier than when i've used this, but it's also never been dryer.
