I upgraded my system from Arlo and these cameras are so much better. I love that they are solar so I don't have to get on a ladder anymore to remove the cameras to charge them every few months. And the clarity of the video's is amazing.
Already impressed with the four S330 cameras we have had for several years, we added a fifth. The high quality images are perfectly complemented by the comprehensive configuration alternatives provided by the Eufy app.
It's my forth camera and they work brilliantly; never losing charge over the years and great camera quality and security
Love this product!! Hardware Installation was easy and connecting the cameras and accessing the cameras was smooth and easy. I only wish I had a direct connection to the router that was located in the room that I usually spend most of my time.
Set up of Cameras and Homebase system it was pretty easy to do although I did have to re-install the system as one of the cameras became unresponsive other than that it works perfectly.
Great product, easy to setup and install, only issue would be the setting up of privacy areas - would be nice to free draw rather than being restricted to a box, which doesn't quite fit the space.
One camera wouldn't connect when new and had to replace. Two of the 4 cameras have now died - 18mths after install. Worked pretty good for a period, but very expensive when devices only last this long and are very expensive to replace. The solar panel has frosted over from exposure is looks like it is no longer able to charge device. The mounts are not very good - easily come loose outside. The devices need to be cheaper or the warranty for a reasonable life span. Probably ok for home use but resolution/clarity is too low to be ideal for commercial applications - ie cannot see number plates or clear facial detail beyond 5 -10 meters.
The new s330 cameras are not nearly as sensitive picking up motion as my old eufycam E's. They don't pickup pet or human motion more than 15 feet away. Add to this that they need to be within 30 feet of the base station, because they can't connect to Wi-Fi other than the base station. So, if you have a ranch house, they are not usable at the far end of the house. I would not have spent the money, if I had known these limitations beforehand.
Camera has quit working in less than a year. Dealing with customer service is a nightmare. They said they couldn't locate the order and I've given it to them multiple times. Issue was never resolved. Stay far away from these cameras and get Reolink instead.
Whatever you do avoid at all costs. 14 month life span then the solar will no longer charge. Far too expensive for such a limited life span. Also heard others habe had no luck with warrenty so im not even bothering.
