We bought this to replace a Samsung lock that we absolutely dreaded. The Samsung's auto-lock feature was frustrating, and it was much noisier than we liked. The Eufy has been trouble-free from day one. The app lets you customise the settings so it works exactly the way you want, rather than forcing you into a particular setup. It's easy to use, reliable, and much quieter than our old lock. We love it and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a smart lock.

This lock is exceptional. Easy to install and excellent quality.

The best made equipment hands down. They really need to hire someone to help with their app though.

everything works great, the only frustrating thing is every time the door closes the case that covers the batteries falls off. I have to be super gentle closing the door every time and of course the kids are not so the batteries are always exposed and the cover on the floor. Perhaps look at a more sturdy casing as something so small lets down a really good product

I want to love this lock - it works well and is convenient, however the advertised battery life is not true. We are changing the 8 x AA batteries every month. I have tried to work through the issue with EUFY ( ie put the lock on its own guest network) and this made no difference.

The lock itself works fine but like other people have mentioned the battery life is not as advertised, we have basic use on an extension and we have got only 8-10 weeks from the batteries.

The features of this lock are great. Easy to add users and fingerprints. Handy to be able to unlock and check its status from the app. But the battery life is truly awful. No chance of it lasting 12 months like it says. I use the highest quality batteries, open my door 2-3 times per day, and the batteries only last 7-8 weeks. That gets expensive having to replace batteries.

This is my third (yes 3rd) fitted C33 lock, although its a good looking device and easy to fit the battery life is very poor, the reason for the failing are that moisture gets in between the mechanical movement and doesn't allow for this to get out and so leads to power faults. i wouldn't recommend this in typical Ozzy climates.

No integration with any smarthome systems really lets this device down. It may be ok in the short term but will quickly become redundant in your home.

We use a range of Eufy products, including 7 cameras so when we needed a new door handle this was a no brainer. First, the battery life is terrible. Using the door once or twice a day the battery will last about a month. Batteries seemed to last longer when we first brought the product, but after a few updates that's no longer the case. Physically using a passcode to unlock the door is unintuitive and difficult. We exclusively use the finger tip function which would be fine if every attempt wasn't a 50/50 chance of working. Fortunately unlocking the door via the app works well, if not a little frustrating when locked outside. As someone deep in the Eufy ecosystem, I would steer clear of this product. In fact, I will likely be changing to a different brand.
