Of all the household chores there are, I hate filling ice cube trays more than anything else. And, I don't like integral ice makers installed in refrigerator/freezers. They so often break or present with issues. So, I decided to get a countertop version years ago. Love that I can use the water of my choice to make ice, like spring, rather than tap. My former ice maker didn't survive the move across the country. Turns out, that was a good thing. Since, this one is so much better than my old appliance. It has a nice small footprint, yet, it makes as much ice as the larger one and as quickly, if not faster. It takes about a quart of water to fill to the "max" line. Love the fact that the entire mechanism and catch-bins, etc. are visible and easily accessible, rather than just a port-hole over just the catch basin. It will be so much easier to clean and otherwise maintain. And, it is quiet. The only sounds I hear as I go about my other chores, etc. is the ice dropping into the catch basin. There are more than adequate instructions for quick-start, operation and ongoing care, which is so essential in order to maintain proper sanitation.
compact, but cute!! it says to leave it on flat surface for 24 hours. And then you can use it. there comes with everything you need. perfect size for counter top and a house or r v. highly recommend , as it was packaged very well! we've looked a long time for ice machines , and this one had the best features and looks. highly recommend!!
So far it's working well. I make about ten pounds of ice every two to three days. It's compact and easy to work with. Great product for the price. Even if it only lasts six months, it will be worth it.
I needed to reclaim the space in my freezer, so got this countertop Ice maker. It's very quiet. Two size ice cubes to choose from. And for a decent price. Two thumbs up.
Shipped Quickly. Well Packaged. EASY to use, And take out of box. VERY SECURE when shipped, Came in ORIGINAL BOX- So you know what it is. Hasn't made the ice fully yet, BUT very pleased so far with NOISE LEVEL- Very Minmal. Great Size.
Great for me as an ice lover. Produces ice quick and it doesn't take up much space also a great price. I would definitely recommend
I absolutely love it I can never have ice because my freezer is always full and drinks always taste better with ice
Our refrigerator ice maker was lagging behind so I bought this one to have extra ice to be bagged. I love it! It drops ice every 10 minutes and will fill up its little basket after about 5 drops. I pour the full basket of ice in a zip lock and then it keeps on going. The water reservoir needs to be filled after about 5 baskets full of ice. It will fill 3-gallon zip locks in a full day of operation if you have time to keep watching it and working with it. The only thing I don't like is the ice will not stay frozen in its own basket all day, it's only an ice maker not an ice keeper. That's ok with me because i wanted it to fill up bags to have for extra ice in my fridge freezer. Then it's easy enough to put away for next time. I don't leave it out on the counter.
If you are a tecky person you will probably love this item. If not you will probably hate it. The start up instructions are confusing and not accurate. Buttons to push do not coinside with images or instructions. Instructions are sort of generic, vague and probably AI generated, now here do they mention time related info. Right from the start I knew that there were going to be issues, as they stated to keep the machine flat at all times, yet you have to litterally turn the thing upside down just to get the drain plug out! Regarding the ice making process as it takes about 2-3 hours to make a basket full, which only fills about two full glasses! And when you do dump them into the tray and put them in the freezer they stick together like glue. And if you do put them into the ref. they just easily melt. Save yourself a lot of time and money, just use 2 traditional ice trays, as they make ice in 4 hours and produce enough ice to last 4 or 5 days! MV
It’s too noisy, it literally sounds like someone is knocking on our door when it produces the ice. We are going to return it
