Great value piece, very functional
Plan for 6-8 hours of assembly, and you will need a second person. Very functional, I added two handles to pull down the bed, as the access on the sides seemed hazardous for kids.

Great bed. Terrible assembly.
If you have the option to pay for assembly, do it! My husband is very handy and this bed has been a challenge to assemble. The written directions are often incorrect and conflict with the video instructions. Plan for 2 solid days to assemble on your own.

It is just as pictured but very difficult to put together for us laymen. It had two (2) damages on the frame. (we saw it when we took it out of the box) We had to pay to get it built. Otherwise, very nice and much bigger than we expected.

So we got the bed to work but the hydraulics that are meant to help the bed open and close do not line up at all! The only way we could get the bed to open without fully falling over was to keep two of the hydraulic arms disconnected. We then had to make sure to mount the bed directly to the studs in the wall otherwise it falls over when the bed is open. Does it work? Yea for sure but it's certainly not working the way it was supposed to. The doors on the wardrobe part also don't line up at all
