Frame and bed slats are questionable on longevity. It has held up to a 230 lbs. of me plus my daughter laying on the bed together for short periods of time. Has thin wood slats that I'm not sure would hold up to jumping on the bed. The trundle has working drawers that are shallow but usable for small items. We have a 6” mattress on the trundle and it was too tall. We put the bed on 6” risers to make the 6”mattress fit. Same 6” mattress is on the main bed and it fits well. One thing to note is the backside of the headboard is black and not the same fabric as the rest of the bed which is a beige/taupe neutral color. We purchased this bed for a 9 yr old. She loves it. This would not be my first choice if we were going to use this long term. It's really just the last “kids” bed for her until she wants a teenage room. I would not put this in a short term rental unless you add bunkie boards. Not that sturdy. For a little girl who is well behaved and doesn't jump on her bed- it's perfect. Assembly took about 3.5 hours. There are a lot of parts. Putting it together wasn't complicated just alot of pieces. We were looking for a trundle canopy bed that didn't cost much to use for a few years.

I only give it four stars due to the hole placements for assembly. They were a little too close together and I had to improvise. Otherwise, it was easy to put together just long! I added my own box spring. It sat too long for me considering I'm 6'2 tall.

The directions to put the bed together were not that great. When I ordered the mattress for the full, I ordered 10" thickness. When I ordered for the trundle, I bought an 8" thick mattress, and I have since not been able to put the trundle under. The description said matress 8-10" but was not specific on which matress of if it was for both. Needless to say, im out money for a matress or need to lift the bed up if I want the room to ever be put back together!

The bed arrived in a very timely manner. It looks nice when assembled. However, this bed came with all of the hardware (a million little pieces) packaged in one bag mixed together. With that said, that bag was opened and parts were all through the box. One of the side rails were bent on both ends. Thank goodness only a few washers were missing. None of the parts of the bed and storage were labeled. Most of the pictures look the exact same. Took a little longer to assemble trying to figure out the pictures. After following all of the steps, we were close to finishing. Then, we noticed that two of the hex head screws slid into the headboard holes. The pre-drilled holes for the screws to turn into were pushed too far into the headboard. So, now I can’t attached the slats because we’re fearful the bed frame won’t hold up with both of the screws missing on the same side. Kind of disappointed since this was my son’s big gift. After hours of getting the bed assembled, it was quite an upset not being able to finish and add the slats. I tried a longer screw that I had at the house and eventually it slid into the pre-drilled like the shorter screw.

Hardware missing, finished product not stable….shakey…assembly process longer than expected with experienced people

Did not come with instructions or the complete parts. Order came in two separate giant boxes and they still not include all parts. They only provided 1 wood slate and I am missing the sides and bottom of one of the storages. Complete waste of money and my time. Horrible purchase.
