I love the bed and all the storage! It is very nice for the price. The ONLY negative review I have is that there are so many pieces, and you only have pictures as instructions which can get a little confusing when assembling certain pieces. Other than that, I have no complaints.
There are SOOO many pieces, assembly takes a while and you should try to have atleast two people for time sake! The bottom part for the drawer on the bottom is like cheap wood/cardboard didn’t hold up well at all, other than that it’s a really nice bed! My kids love it and will probably have it for many many years!
It’s all nice. Except the trundle bed is hard to get ahold of to pull out. I had an 8 inch mattress on it and it was to big and should’ve fit.
this bed is great and my daughter loves it. It was a real chore getting it put together though and the guys were fed up by the end of the night. My 10 year old daughter loves it though
was hard to put together and most of the boards were bowed. Had to buy extra support.
I read the reviews, but I thought my experience would be different since I’m pretty handy. This is a massive undertaking, but I carefully laid out all the parts and planned my attack. You need quite a bit of floor space to assemble this. You absolutely need real tools to tackle this. Drill, electric screwdriver, socket wrench, etc. Things were going well at first and the bed was taking shape. It’s a cheap bed with cheap components, but it doesn’t look bad. I was thinking it was going to work out fine. It was time to join the beds together and the main leg, %2325, was nowhere to be found. Panic ensued. I discovered I had two %2310’s. Just like another reviewer. Ugh. Wal Mart has a good return policy, but having to carry all that back downstairs, disassemble, and try to fit back in boxes for Fed Ex to pickup was a huge headache. The price is appealing, but it’s not worth it. If I had a table router, I would have considered just making my own leg. Kinda silly to have to fabricate your own pieces. Just stay away.
I was super excited to get this bed for the kids. And now that I received it and began to build it, i am left with half of the bed done because I am missing a leg part to finish the other side of the bed. The top part of the back side of the bed none of it aligns the way it's suppose to so I can't even put those on either. I have no way to contact customer service to get the replacement part. And it's frustrating because I have to return the whole bed instead of just receiving the missing part. ALSO, this bed comes in 1 million pieces- 3 separate boxes. So I suggest paying the extra to get it built. Until customer service can help with the missing part, I'm leaving the review with 1 star, even though it's a really nice bed.
If the item came with all of the right pieces, my rating might be higher. I went through the pieces prior to assembly, but one piece had a ripped off label, which I assumed, by process of elimination, was part %2310. Unfortunately it was a second part %2325, which is similar to %2310, but with all the holes and slots in different places. We discovered this after step %2318 (out of 38). I know that those things happen so I tried to contact the manufacturer. I could not find any contact information on the Walmart website so I contacted Walmart customer service. We had three choices: 1. Refund…..the item would have to be dismantled and returned 2. Replacement….the item would have to be dismantled and returned 3. Keep the item and drill holes, etc to make it work and get a $25 compensation. We chose %231 and they are sending people to our home in a week to dismantle it and haul it away. We had a half-built trundle bed set waiting to be taken away, but had to do some dismantling to get it out of the room so we could get a replacement in time for our guests. They will have to walk through this mess to get to their room, but at least they will have beds to sleep on.
I wouldn't recommend this item OR Walmart. For the record, if there is an item missing or defective in the package, Walmarts response is going to be "disassemble what you've built and bring the 3 separate boxes worth of parts back for a refund or email a company in Greece that will not respond...they don't have US based customer service at all." My kids have been without an actual bed for over a week now and Walmart has been ZERO help in fixing the problem. Shockingly bad experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I didn't think they were the greatest to begin with but, knowing what I know now, I no longer trust Walmart as a retailer to stand by what they are selling... they'll gladly take your moment and tell you it isn't their problem when they sell you actual garbage.
Mid assembly I am needing a piece that is missing. I cannot go any further and my kids are now without beds. Unbelievable
