The velcro that seals where the sand goes shut and secures the bags to the post are both VERY strong. Was able to hit 30lbs per bag. Overall, very satisfied!

I got exactly what I ordered. Four sandbags. I thought they would already be filled with sand but the ad doesn't say they would so I'm happy.

This item is exactly as described. At the recommendation of another review I filled them with pea gravel. Just make sure you have a sturdy tent.

BE AWARE - when filled with small stone pebbles, weight is not more than 30 pounds per double bag. Weight with sand is similar. Filling these with water, sand and/or stone pebbles does not reach 40 pounds. A typical weight requirement per canopy pole at craft shows is 40 pounds of weight per pole. A single concrete block (8" x 8" x 16") is about 35 pounds, and is cheaper than buying these bags and something to fill them with. Good points: Quality is very good. Arrived quickly. They're easy to use. I will use these WITH my cinder blocks on breezy days at my craft booth. I also use a 1"-wide strap that goes from the bag handle's strap, wrap around each pole and attach it to my canopy frame.

Weights are really easy to use. My only complaint was that 1 of my weights has a tear after only 2 uses.

The product description says each bag holds 40 pound. I tried large rocks and could only get twenty pounds total in both sides of each bag. I tried canned beans and only got 8 cans into each bag. The bags are well made and seem sturdy.. Each one is one heavy duty bag with a heavy seam down the middle making two sections. I tried filling both sections but could never get it to 40 pounds . I guess if you had two twenty pound steel rods you might get it. I did notice this complaint on other brand of bags but did not see it on this one so this is why I purchased them.
