Evan Almighty (DVD)

One of the best movies for family that is available. I watch it every time it is on TV; and decided to get my own copy. It is funny, has good visual effects; has a moral to it. Just a great all round fun film.

I feel that this is an excellent family film containing semi-bibical themes. While fictional the story line is quite accurate in many forms. The comedy is very good and teaches strong family teamwork value. Except for a few instances of profanity, this film would be suitable for showing in a church or other religious setting,

I love how this movie can be funny and spiritually educational at the same time. It shows one of the many ways that God answer our prayers. It also shows that when God needs you to do something, He will make you do it, because it is for your own good and because He loves you. I watch this movie over and over again. I can never get tired of the characters, the storyline, and the theme of the movie. I must say, I like this movie more than Bruce Almighty.

This movie is very funny very entertaining.

Not hysterical but a pretty funny movie. It has a unique story line but not the kind of movie you can watch multiple times. It's a once in a blue moon thing.

We had purchased this DVD for the kids for Christmas and when they opened it and placed it into the DVD player, it skipped several times in the first few minutes. Yes, we will be returning it for a replacement, however, the kids were just a tad upset they couldn't watch it.
