As soon as this book arrived, I flipped through it and it looks exactly like what I was looking for. I homeschool and most art books and curriculum require so many obscure supplies. This book uses the simplest supplies to go through lines, shapes, color, value, texture, form, and space. There are quite a few art activities for each subject but they all look simple and enjoyable. Every so often there is a page I will want to copy and give to each kid, but most of it is just instructions for each project so one copy will work well for multiple kids or multiple uses. At the back there are spotlighted artists and projects that correlate with them. These look super fun. Overall, I am super excited to use this book to teach my kids art this school year. And it has so much in it I bet it will last more than one year.
