This comes with a nice carry case which is useful because this is my guest charger and backup charger for travel. I acquired the EVDANCE J1772 version of this charger last month and was most impressed with the design and the ability to adjust down the charging current which helps me limit the heat stress on the vehicle and wiring in hot Florida summers. When I use this charger set to 8 amps, my EV's cooling fan does not even come on in 90 degree weather! I have relatives on the other side of my state who drive Teslas and now they have no excuse not to come visit. Even though my tiny home is limited to a 50 amp electrical service I can run two of these chargers at 8 amps or lower, at the same time, because they are adjustable. My new EVDANCE Tesla to J1772 adapter is something to keep with me in case I only encounter a Tesla charging station in my travels. I used that adapter to test out this new Tesla version charger on my 1300 pound three wheeled autocycle EV. It adapts, latches and fits effortlessly and it is easy to use. A Tesla owner could do well with this similar combination but the reverse adapter in case they only have a J1772 charger available while traveling. The charger's display data is hard but not impossible to read in full sun but you only need to see it for a few seconds to verify your settings and performance. The delayed charging count down timer feature can be a money saver in regions with off peak electrical rates or to limit charging to cooler night time hours. A short 120V to 240V plug adapter is included for reaching the maximum 16 amp charge rate. I do not have a way to test the adapter plug but it looks solidly made. The cable has extra heavy duty sheaths protecting three 14 gauge wires and one 18 gauge wire. The back of the charger case has a slot for hanging it on a screw head on the wall so there is no need for a wall mounted charger holster. Included is a lively rubber end cap to protect the plug connection pins when not in use. Recommended.
