A Must Have

Nunu April 11, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say the Elara 2-in-1 Smart Motion Swing & Soothing Nest is a total game changer and a must-have for any parent. From the moment we set it up, I was impressed. The assembly was quick and easy, and my little one looked comfortable right away, which gave me peace of mind. One of my favorite features is the 2-in-1 versatility. Being able to switch between the swing and the soothing nest is incredibly convenient, especially throughout different parts of the day. The transition between modes is simple and doesn’t feel like a hassle at all, which is exactly what you need when you’re juggling a baby and everything else. The range of positions is another big win. I love that it goes from sitting up to laying down, giving my baby flexibility depending on her mood. The motions are gentle and smooth, never too much, and they don’t cause any motion sickness. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making it both effective and safe. The SensorySoothe technology and cry detection really stood out to me. It’s honestly such a helpful bonus feature. Whenever my little one starts to cry, the swing automatically adjusts the motions, sounds, and lights until it finds something that calms her. It feels like having an extra set of hands, and it actually works. As for the design, it’s beautiful. The fabrics feel soft and high-quality, and the overall look blends seamlessly into my home decor. It doesn’t look bulky or out of place like some baby gear can. The Evenflo app was also super easy to use. I especially love that I can control the speed of the motions right from my phone, being able to slow it down or speed it up depending on what my baby needs is such a cool and useful feature. Overall, I absolutely love this swing. It’s thoughtful, functional, and genuinely makes life easier. I would recommend it to any parent without hesitation. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing.

Premium Baby Swing

DiploMama March 4, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd like to give a huge thank you to the Stellar Review Panel for sending me this wonderful product to try out. I have been so impressed with it so far- particularly the premium quality materials that were used, how comfortable my baby is in the seat (in the seated position and the nest position) and the awesome controls available in the app. I love that there way the seat looks and how it seamlessly blends into my decor, no matter what room I'm using it in. The SensorySoothe technology was easy to use through the app or on the base of the swing, and I can tell that it really engages our kiddo. The cry detection sensor works like a charm and gives me a few minutes before I need to intervene, which is great when I'm working from home. Overall, this is definitely the coolest baby gadget I've ever had and I look forward to using it for as long as possible.

Worth the floor space (and I hate baby clutter)

Anonymous February 16, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several kids, so I’ve owned my fair share of baby swings, and honestly most of them either overstimulate my babies or they tolerate them for about five minutes. This one has been different. The seat feels more like a little nest than a typical swing, and my baby actually relaxes in it instead of looking startled. The motion is gentle and smooth, more of a rocking feeling than a traditional back-and-forth swing, and my baby has fallen asleep in it multiple times. My favorite feature by far is that it can convert into a bassinet. Less baby gear is always a plus in my book, and having a safe place to lay my baby down on a flat surface for those early days rather than a more upright swing let me start using this on day one home from the hospital! I also really appreciate how it looks. I’m pretty minimalist and usually hate big baby gear sitting out in my house, but this one is actually aesthetically pleasing and blends into our living room instead of taking it over. I’m much more willing to keep it set up because it doesn’t feel like clutter. The built-in sounds are surprisingly calming and the volume control is helpful during naps. Assembly was simple and the footprint is reasonable for a swing. A couple honest notes: it does make a small amount of motor noise while running. You can hear it in a quiet room, but it hasn’t bothered my baby and wouldn’t stop me from recommending it. I also wish the buttons on the swing had a lock feature, my toddler loves to walk over and press them, which has definitely woken the baby a few times. Overall this has been the first swing I’d actually recommend to another parent, especially in the newborn stage when you just need somewhere safe to set the baby while helping your other kids or getting something done around the house. I did receive this product as apart of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but truly would buy it for myself or a friend!

Don’t even bother with the other swings

Blarbie February 19, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this infant swing to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First off let me say that this swing has a function for every mood a baby might throw at you. The second I put my baby in the swing for the first time he started smiling and laughing. And wouldn’t stop! I was in disbelief! Set up was a breeze. I am NOT a handy person but the swing came in while my husband was away and I didn’t want to wait for him so I put it together myself. It was a few pieces that needed to be clicked in but that’s it. I did have a hard time adjusting the straps but like I said I am not a handy person. As soon as my husband came in he fixed the straps with no problem. I love the gender neutral color it came in. It fit right in with the vibe of my living room. The app is top tier! It works great, it’s not some outdated app that runs slow. Being able to start and stop the machine from my couch is great! As I mentioned before there’s a mode for every mood, I just go off of whatever baby wants at the time. He enjoys the light and how it changes colors but it’s not bright so I know it’s not straining on his eyes. Lastly I like how they designed the swing to sway parents away from leaving their kids in to sleep. What I mean by that is the seat doesn’t lay completely flat. And the positions that you can put the seat in aren’t for sleeping. It’s for calming baby down so you can get a few things done around the house. Me, being a stay at home mother, finds this extremely helpful. The swing keeps him occupied so I can handle other things. It’s also easy to move so before I put him in I put the swing in a spot where he can see me then I put him in and go on about my business! Overall this swing is something your newborn needs. Whoever drafted up this swing knows babies!

Classy and comfortable

heyrachelmarie February 17, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a twin mom to 4 month old babies, I will take all of the help that I can get. Even when it comes to baby gear. I breastfeed both of our babies and when I’m feeding one I need the other to be occupied and happy or else I go a little crazy. When Stellar Product Testing Panel asked me to test out the Elara Smart Swing from Evenflo I was skeptical, to be honest. I’ve used swings before with our other babies and I just never really felt like they would soothe them. When I got the Smart Swing delivered to my house I immediately started putting it together and it took me a matter of minutes. It was so simple. I was blown away with how beautiful this swing is! It literally matched my decor in my living room (where we spend most of our time). I love the way it looks so much. It doesn’t take up a lot of space either. One of my favorite things about this swing is that it has two different seating positions. It has an upright Smart Motion Swing and a reclined Soothing Nest. The nest is like a bassinet which kind of cradles your baby into place and the Smart Motion Swing sits them more upright. One of our twins has reflux so he definitely appreciates the upright position. All you have to do is zip or unzip it. The nest position often soothes them to sleep very well like they’re in their bassinet. Above their head is a technology bar where the sounds come from and the lights display as well as the cutest little stuffed animal bird hangs down. It has different color lights that also change frequencies which really captivated my babies attention. This swing also has cry detection technology which blows my mind. It rocks, lights up and has soothing sounds to calm your baby when they start crying! And it really works! Often I’ll be nursing one baby while one is in the swing and if they get impatient and start fussing the swing detects it and calms them for me. I can also control the swing from my phone with the Evenflo app. If they get bored with a certain sound, light or motion I can quickly change it up from my phone with out even having to go over to the swing. It has saved me so much time. I love the look of the swing but the seat and sides of the bassinet have a mesh material which prevents suffocation. The fabric is also very easy to clean. If you want to use the controls on the swing itself I have found it very easy to use with my foot if I am holding one baby while trying to soothe the other in the swing. I don’t have to bend over. Sometimes technology can be glitchy, especially with new technology but I have not had any issues at all. The app has different soothing profiles so that it can pick a sound, motion and light that works together to soothe your baby. I really do love this swing and will continue to use it as long as I can. It has saved me so much time and anxiety. I don’t have to worry about my babies safety while they use this swing. It has helped so much to calm the babies when mommy just needs some hands free time. It cured me of my disbelief in swings ability to actually soothe and comfort my baby.

Awesome and Aesthetic

Masi February 22, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the versatility of this swing. The 2-in-1 design makes it so easy to switch between the swing and the soothing nest depending on what my baby needs in the moment. The transition between modes is quick and simple, which is a huge help during busy days. The SensorySoothe technology and cry detection took me a little time to figure out at first, but once I got the hang of it, it made a big difference in calming my baby. It’s nice having a product that can respond when my hands are full. Another big plus is the minimalistic aesthetic. The colors blend perfectly with my living room, so it doesn’t feel like bulky baby gear taking over the space. I also really enjoy the app. Being able to personalize the colors and control everything from my phone is convenient, and the app itself is very easy to use. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed product that combines style, smart features, and functionality for everyday life with a baby. I received this infant swing from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Where Comfort Meets Innovation

Mama and Mini Reviews February 20, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent, I’m always looking for baby gear that makes life easier (who isn’t?!), and this baby swing definitely brings some impressive features to the table. One of my favorite things about it is the app control. Being able to adjust the swing settings right from my phone is very convenient. The cry detection is also a standout feature. When the baby starts crying, the swing automatically activates soothing sounds, movement, and soft lights. It feels like having an extra set of hands, which is priceless during busy days. I also love the versatility of the two positions. The upright swing works great for alert, awake time, while the soothing nest position is perfect for calming and resting. The neutral color looks great in our house and does not stick out; our house is full of neutral colors, so it matches everything nicely. Comfort-wise, the seat is cozy and supportive, and it feels sturdy and secure overall. For the negatives, the swing seems to be a better fit for younger or smaller babies (less than 6 months). I also wish the straps had padding; while they’re secure, a little extra cushioning would make them more comfortable. Some of the motion settings can feel slightly jerky rather than smooth, which may not work for every baby. Lastly, the technology bar could benefit from being extendable; a bit more length would improve positioning and overall usability, especially for larger babies. Overall, this is a great swing with some very convenient features. The smart features and automatic soothing functions are incredibly helpful, especially in those early newborn months. While it’s not perfect, it’s a solid choice for parents looking for modern functionality combined with comfort and style! Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting us this swing.

Beautiful and soothing

LC February 19, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elara 2-in-1 Smart Motion Swing & Soothing Nest is a beautiful and functional addition to our living room. So many baby devices can be an eye sore and this fits seamlessly our space. The plush padding and five point harness provide both comfort and security. I really appreciate the flexibility of switching between the swing and nest modes. Our little one enjoys both modes and it's easy to transition between the two. The SensorySoothe light and sound options quickly calm our son and there is a realistic variety to choose from. I also liked the many motion options. The seat also rotates 90 degrees, for even more versatility. Controlling through the mobile app was straight forward. Overall the design is beautiful, soothing and easy to operate. The only drawbacks were that the that the cry detection feature worked most of the time but occasionally missed the initial cries, and the swing’s motion was slightly louder than expected. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing.

Very cool tech, baby loves it

Baylorgirl11 February 17, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this swing as part of the Stellar product testing panel. The swing is a nice neutral color and wood accents are nice touches and it was fairly easy to setup (although still a little time consuming and the instruction could have been a little more clear in parts). The sensory soothe tech is by far the thing that sets this swing apart from others. My son loves the fun lights and drum sounds when he’s sitting upright for a more entertainment focused time and also enjoys the soothing features when settling for a short nap. The only downside in my opinion is that certain sounds are only available for access through the app. If there was a customizable button on the swing itself to add your favorite settings to that would be even better. The cry detection did turn on as expected but it was not completely effective at soothing him but did buy me a little time which is nice. A few more things we loved: the 90 degree rotation so swaying motions can be front to back or left to right and the multiple angle positions so baby can recline or sit up. My son is 6 months old so we used it in the swing position much more than the nest but that setup would be ideal for a newborn and love the versatility to grow with baby for extended use. Some things that were not my favorite and could be improved on: The overall size. This thing is huge! Definitely nice and roomy even for older babies but it has a bigger footprint. The noise and lack of smoothness in motions. Unfortunately it is fairly loud when motion is turned on and the motions are pretty jerky and not fluid. The app connection. There’s not a way to turn on the swing from within the app so if you forget to push the physical power button and walk away, you can’t control it. Overall, we love how this swing entertains our baby and the ease of controlling it with the phone app without having to be right next to it.

The Fanciest Bassinet

Swiss Army Stroller February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the only products where I genuinely feel it's a real 2-for-1 product. There's a lot to unpack with this product, so let's dive right in. As always, let's begin with the positives: First, assembly. To be honest, this was delivered to my house while I was at work so my husband set it up without me. But I didn't receive any phone calls or texts about how "annoying" it was, so I'm assuming set up was relatively easy. However, I will make a note about the shoulder straps. I had to adjust the straps to be the highest setting (my baby is 5 months old) and it was a total pain - you have to take the strap all the way out and force it back through. I suppose that means that the straps are actually useful and safe for baby, but boy was it annoying while doing it. Next, style. I'm a sucker for the "new age modern" decor and this fits in perfectly. I absolutely love the color scheme on this. It looks high-end while remaining beautifully simple. The wood accent on the top of the light is really pleasing to look at. Plus I love the white seat cushion. I know most people are probably turned off by white cushioned anything for their baby, but so far it's held up against my baby's constant messes. Time will tell how well it does after it goes through it's first blow out though! Finally, function. And there are multiple functions to discuss here. App - I need to start off by saying that I love the app. Most apps that control products (especially baby products) are dumpy at best. But this app is really intuitive and easy to use! Now the features in the app are AMAZING. My husband and I were legitimately excited to try them all out! We cannot get over how "cool" the features are! You can choose from different soothing playlists where the light/sound/motion work together to create a "scene" for your baby that is just so fun! You can make it high energy and super entertaining or lowkey and relaxing. The cry detection feature was a really neat idea as well, although I will say it did not help my little guy stop crying (once he was done in the chair, he was done lol). Chair/Bassinet - I was really skeptical on how well this product would transition from chair to bassinet, but boy was I humbled. It's crazy how easy it is! And the baby can remain in the product during the transition, which I love because if he started falling asleep, I'd just quickly lay it down for him. It also seemed very comfortable, but my baby isn't exactly picky about comfort so take that with a grain of salt if yours is. Light - Probably my favorite feature honestly. The changing lights could hold my baby's attention for hours (not literally, probably more like 20-30 minutes though!). And the fact that I could change them/control them from my phone made me SO happy too. Sounds - Finally a product that doesn't blow my baby's eardrums out! And there's so much more than just the "classic" sounds (white noise, birds chirping, water running, etc.) too! Now let's get to the negatives: By far the most negative aspect about this product is the high-pitch beeping noise that the motor makes while it's in motion. It's so bad that my husband literally needs to leave the room after a few minutes because he can't stand it. However, I will say that while it's one of those "once you hear it, you can't unhear it" noises, I wasn't bothered by it NEARLY as bad as he was. In fact, it hardly bothered me at all. So it probably depends on how sensitive you are to high-pitch noises. Next negative, you need to physically turn the product on in order for the app to work. Maybe that's not a deal breaker for some, but that aspect really bothered me. I'd be putting my baby in the seat while also playing with my toddler, so I'd quickly try to turn on a fun scene for him via the app and would ALWAYS be disappointed that I forgot to turn the dang thing on first. I don't understand why you can turn it on via the app, but can control literally everything else (including turning it off?) via the app. Overall, I would say this is a very awesome product. Are there minor annoyances? Sure, but again, none of the negatives are really big deals (at least to me). Even so, the positives FAR outweigh any of the negatives. If you're looking for something fun to help you entertain your baby that's not TV, then this product is for you. I would highly recommend to anyone with a baby that's 6 months old or less. A big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing!
