Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (Maya Coral)

Quick shipping order on a Friday was here by Monday. I just received this car seat maybe 3 weeks ago. I ordered it my sister but it was so nice I decided to keep it. I got into a car accident. The car in front of me missed there exit so they cut over hitting the guard rail which made their car turn sideways then I had no choice but to hit them on the drive side we collided my car lost control then on the passenger side where my son car seat it hit hit my a semi truck carrying rocks and stones. This car seat saved my son’s life. The state trooper stated this is the best car seat to have and for me to get another one just like it because he was very well protected he was nice and tight. My son doesn’t have a single scratch on him after being hit by a semi truck. Praise the lord. His car seat after the crash looks like nothing happened to it looks good as new. I, on the other was the only one hurt from the accident and had to be taken to the hospital. My son was also taken just as a precaution but he’s perfect. So if your debating because it’s to expensive I hope my story helps with your decision. I’m buying this exact car seat again for my husband car now. Once I’m able to get a new car because needless to say my car was totaled I’ll be buying this exact one for my new car. This car seat saved his life!!!!

love this seat my 2year old fits perfect forward facing. lots of head pertection easy to install and the bottom is small so it fots good on my back seats.

A little hard to install for grandparents who haven’t done it in over 20 years, but we figured it out and the seat is tight. Lots of compliments and looks like one of the safest seats on the market. We love it, and thrust putting our grandson in it!

We searched all over the internet looking for an affordable car seat that would allow our son to stay rear facing as he started to outgrow the basic seat. I was browsing at Walmart and was happily surprised to find this gem. Its still more expensive than what I had wanted to spend, but about half the price of anything else I found. My son seems much more comfortable in it. The adjustments are not intuitive to me and I am not a huge fan of the instruction manual, but a little playing with it and rereading did the trick. They say the crotch buckle is supposed to stay in the short position for rear facing, but there is no feasible way that would work for us. I made sure the strap for attaching to the car and the crotch buckle were not interfering with each other and that is how it will be until the next transition. Overall one week in and I am satisfied with this purchase. Also, definitely push the car seat down when tightening! It helped so much!

Very small base for such a large carseat. Even with the safety strap and seatbelt routed through, seat still teeters. The different incline positions are pretty easy to adjust, but the seat still doesnt feel very secure. Hopefully your vehicle has a tie down in the floor/ under front seat to help secure, when seat is rear facing.

Love that it has a variety of colors, but I couldn't get it to stay tight in my car. It is also hard to get the harness buckle to buckle. it go in the hole and you really have to push to get it to click and its that same way when you are trying to unbuckle you have to press the red button really hard and wiggle to get them to come out. We are returning for a different seat.

Bought this as a second car seat for the other car and Every belt on this car seat is extremely hard to tighten, especially the rear and forward facing anchor straps and I couldn't get either of them tightened enough where I felt comfortable enough to let my baby sit in it. My husband would have to secure it as best he can after me.

it was a great car seat but within a couple months of owning it the Styrofoam in the head rest broke. it shouldn't have broke considering it's been in no accidents or any trauma to it. aside from my kid jerking himself around when he gets mad.

As a CPST and a mom of 2, this is the most difficult car seat I have ever owned or worked with. I returned with due to the recline foot being either defective or incompatible with my SUV. Myself and another CPST were unable to successfully install this seat in my car. Weeks later, I was asked to install this seat for a client at my car seat clinic into their SUV, and again was unable to install correctly. I was able to safely and correctly install this car seat into a Toyota Corolla this weekend, however it was still the most difficult instal I have ever done. If you are looking for a challenge, then this is definitely a seat you will find that with. However if you want safe and effortless, you should look into another seat. In general, I love the Evenflo brand, and this seat has a lot of visual/aesthetic appeal to it, to I was quite excited when it was released, but after attempting to install this seat for 3 separate people in 3 separate vehicles, I will never recommend this specific seat to anyone. There are other things about it that I have realized I do not like, such as the difficulty to attach and detach the cup holders, the difficult to remove soft goods, which must be lifted to install the seat. The recline bar is positioned so low on the front of the seat that when it is correctly installed rear facing in your vehicle, you are barely able to reach down to adjust the recline level, which may need adjusted after the seat install to ensure proper recline level for the infant/child. The soft goods are attached with plastic prongs which can snap and break, and are incredibly difficult to reattach to the seat once the seat is installed rear facing. This seat may be more ideal for forward facing only use,

Fedex delivered 3 days late. They sent it in its original box which was in horrible shape and falling apart. Was already opened. The carseat wasn't even in plastic wrap looks used. overall just horrible im over ordering from walmart and fedex just sucking in general.
