Bought as a back up, now use all the time!

Jess99 February 10, 2016

I originally bought this because I was away from home for four days and I needed something to pump with. After I purchased this I no longer use my electric pump. I actually prefer to use the manual pump. It's easy to clean and easy to set up. Can use it anywhere. I love it !

The best pump

Colombiana2 June 11, 2013

I have 3 breast milk pump mendela- manual ($40.00) mendela- electric ($200.00) and the best evenflo manual for ($19.00) EVENFLO is twice faster than the others and the most important thing express all the milk so you can feel the comfort of having your breast empty. I have this product over 8 months and its perfect, I would recomend you, just dont wash the litlle part that stretches with warm water becase with the time it will break...buy it without any doubt!

Better than the Medela Harmony.

Merindajs November 2, 2016

In July I purchased the Medela Harmony to use on a long flight at 4 months post partum, and promptly forgot to put it in my carryon so I grabbed this one because well - half the price. It's now November and my Medela PISA is not doing the trick anymore so I've been double pumping with my hand pumps EVERY PUMP and I'm am furious at the lack of quality in the Harmony. Each time I pump, I have to swap back and forth to get all the milk out of both sides. The Evenflo follows the Medela because, frankly, the Medela is not effective. I'm actually headed to Walmart to buy a second Evenflo before I throw the Harmony through my window. If I had something bad to say about the Evenflo, it's a ripper. Use coconut oil to help with the pain :)

very effective, easy to use, and portable.

I needed a pump for an 11 hour flight I was taking without my son, but i wanted one that was discreet and could be easily used. I was not sure about getting this pump because I had only had electric. I had an expensive Mendela, and an electric evenflo and they both worked great so I thought I would give evenflo another try. It was a life saver. I originally only bought it to use on the flight but it worked so well I used it at work 2-3 times a day because I did not have access to an outlet while out of the country. It was easy to use, easy to clean, and of course quiet. The only issue I had was that if my breast got to full it would be slightly uncomfortable to pump until my breast where no longer engorged. The suction was great and I had no problems pumping and doing everything with one hand. It expressed the milk fast. I got 4-5 ounces in 10 minutes. Excellent product for the price. I keep it now for pumping emergencies.

I just gave birth to my son 2 weeks ago. At the hospital, I took a lactation class and they told me the brand Medela was the 'best' breast pump on the market. And the reviews online for Medela were superb. I told my son's father to buy me a breast pump, and I told him I wanted the Medela brand, but of course, he bought me the Evenflo because it was the cheapest one. The first few times I've used it, my nipples were really sore, but now I guess my nipples are used to the suction because it doesn't hurt anymore. I barely pumped out 1 ounce a day. At first I thought it was the breast pump, so I was going to buy the Medela, but I decided it to just keep trying with the Evenflo. Then I did a lot of research online on increasing your breast milk, and here's what worked for me: *Drink many glasses of water *Continue taking prenatal *Your nipples need stimulation. I put my son to one side to let him latch on and suck, and then immediately afterwards (about a minute), pump that side! I was amazed how milk was streaming down because of my baby's suckling was telling my body to produce more milk. This is the only pump I've tried, but it does the job. It does lose some milk (few drops), but collects more then loses. It's very easy to clean & take apart.

Disappointed

Aphroditemommy November 26, 2012

You get what you pay for. This product was cheap. Got to use it a grand total of 10 times before it kicked the bucket, that's with replacing parts. It is a pain to clean, discomforting to use, all around horrible. I would not recommend this product to anyone, save your money and invest into something that will last.

Not Worth It

UnhappyCustomer September 3, 2016

I used this pump once on a trip to the beach and anothr time on a weekend get away. After two separate occassions the valve broke. The pump does not close compleletly and it no longer works. I haven't had this pump for more than a month. Not worth the money.
