Easy to use. Not fancy or heavily padded. It's easy to wipe off. It's easy to adjust the straps. The only issue I have ran across. Is the release button for the base car seat to get it out of the base. It is hard to release sometimes ,it has to be done with two hands at times.
Was skeptical to order from some of the negatives I read in the review section. I have always had graco for my infant seats. The base of this seat clicks in differently but once you learn to lean it down to click in, it's a breeze. Can't beat the price of this seat. I ordered an infant insert. That's the only thing that this seat could use for newborns.
It takes some finagling to get the car seat into the base securely and took us a little bit to figure out you have to press the carry bar down to get it to move. Also, can't figure out how to get the canopy to attach to the back of the car seat. However, for the value, it's a decent car seat!
it's a nice cheap option for a car seat but I did not like the straps and how you have to hold the two sides together to clasp it in. and the straps were not very long, I usually like pulling the straps out a bunch to make it easier to clip in and then tightening where it needs to be and there was very little slack to these straps. it was easy installing, just like a normal car seat, it is kind of funky how to seat fits in the base, it goes under the little notch in the front to clip in fully and it's kinda hard if you have a car seat cover on or if you have a blanket you have to make sure the little notch is clear to be able to latch into the base. it took me a minute to realize how to work the bar. it's not buttons on the side, you just push down and move which is really nice doing one handed. it's a really nice cheap alternative and I would recommend it, I just think the strap design could've been easier.
The bottom bucket system is really odd. It is not the normal metal buckle. The canopy was fixed to the back so not as adjustable as other carseats. it was a little difficult to get the base secure in the seat and you have to tilt it forward under a plastic piece to get the seat on the base; not very ideal when baby is sleeping. All that said it was an ok purchase for $50. It isn't my main carseat so it didn't bother me too much.
product seat belt straps do not offer any neck support! ! (did not come with any safety padding either which is rlly odd since this is made for babies). so it works, and is a good price, but expect having to look for extra padding so that the newborn/infant is as safe as they can be in this one.
The first time I used this car seat, it took me 20 mins to get the car seat in the base, and after the drive I went to take the car seat out of the base and gave up after about 10 mins. I just ended up detaching the base from the car so I could get the car seat out of the car. It is still to this day stuck to the car seat.
I purchased this car seat for my newborn daughter, and unfortunately the package did not include all of the necessary parts. The pillow that helps secure the baby was missing, as well as the visor/sunshade that protects the baby's face from the sun. The car seat itself seems fine, but missing these items makes it unusable as intended for a newborn. I'm very disappointed and hope this issue can be addressed, as safety and comfort are extremely important when it comes to a newborn.
This is not an item I would recommend. It was defective from the beginning. The car seat got stuck to the base and never could get it released. I feel that this is very unsafe, this should be a recall factor. The car seat itself seems very flimsy and not protective enough in my opinion. I returned this item mainly because of the seat getting stuck but decided to go with a different kind of car seat.
This thing absolutely sucks, it's cheaply made and it doesn't have a button on the side to pull the thing back I have to put all ur weight on it to get it down.
