Easy to use. Not fancy or heavily padded. It's easy to wipe off. It's easy to adjust the straps. The only issue I have ran across. Is the release button for the base car seat to get it out of the base. It is hard to release sometimes ,it has to be done with two hands at times.
Was skeptical to order from some of the negatives I read in the review section. I have always had graco for my infant seats. The base of this seat clicks in differently but once you learn to lean it down to click in, it's a breeze. Can't beat the price of this seat. I ordered an infant insert. That's the only thing that this seat could use for newborns.
I like the product because it is easy to carry and works well for my 4 lbs grand baby (girl). The carrier snaps to the seat belt connector. Taking it out of the seat belt connector is easy as long as you pull the white locking latch in the back of the carrier
This is a nice affordable seat. Sure, there's a few things I had to work through but overall I would recommend. 1st putting the handle down- most infant carries have buttons on the handle, this one you have to push down on to move. 2nd putting the car seat in the base- I couldn't figure it out at first and had to read the manual. There's like a little dip at the front and you've e gotta slip that under the latch in the base before you can get it to click into place. 3rd- didn't come with the infant padding. Luckily I'm a stay at home mom so don't really go many places the first few weeks and all my kids were born full term so it wasn't an issue.. but if you're gonna be traveling a lot the 1st few weeks or have a premie/medically complex child needing extra head support for longer periods of time you might want to go with more padded car seat. But for me and my child's needs, it was fine. I do really love how light weight this car seat is and I think it's a really pretty color! The one I had for my girls was a lot heavier so I wasn't able to carry it around long. Base was very simply to install though, which is always nice.
I'm not a fan of the handle on this carseat. I don't like how you have to push down on the handle to move it, I'd rather have buttons like other car seats I've had in the past. I also don't like the crotch buckle and how you have to put the two pieces together like a puzzle to click them in. Other than those two things I like the carseat for the price, If I would have had more time to buy a different one I wouldn't have bought this one.
The bottom bucket system is really odd. It is not the normal metal buckle. The canopy was fixed to the back so not as adjustable as other carseats. it was a little difficult to get the base secure in the seat and you have to tilt it forward under a plastic piece to get the seat on the base; not very ideal when baby is sleeping. All that said it was an ok purchase for $50. It isn't my main carseat so it didn't bother me too much.
I purchased this car seat for my newborn daughter, and unfortunately the package did not include all of the necessary parts. The pillow that helps secure the baby was missing, as well as the visor/sunshade that protects the baby's face from the sun. The car seat itself seems fine, but missing these items makes it unusable as intended for a newborn. I'm very disappointed and hope this issue can be addressed, as safety and comfort are extremely important when it comes to a newborn.
This is not an item I would recommend. It was defective from the beginning. The car seat got stuck to the base and never could get it released. I feel that this is very unsafe, this should be a recall factor. The car seat itself seems very flimsy and not protective enough in my opinion. I returned this item mainly because of the seat getting stuck but decided to go with a different kind of car seat.
The first time I used this car seat, it took me 20 mins to get the car seat in the base, and after the drive I went to take the car seat out of the base and gave up after about 10 mins. I just ended up detaching the base from the car so I could get the car seat out of the car. It is still to this day stuck to the car seat.
This thing absolutely sucks, it's cheaply made and it doesn't have a button on the side to pull the thing back I have to put all ur weight on it to get it down.
