Needed a second base for the Evenflo dual shyft car seat. It was perfect. Fit the seat perfectly like it should. The only downsize is the price in which you cannot remove the wheels from the car seat when using this base. You can only remove the seat from the wheels with the original base and no one not even Evenflo sell the original replacement. You'd have to buy two sets of this car seat to have the luxury of the original base, other than that it did what it needed to do.

Great padding and loved the shoulder and chest straps. Very easy to wear as a backpack. However, it was a very very tight fit and difficult to fit the car seat in the bag. Give yourself plenty of time at the airport to do it. Also, very disappointing that the base didn't fit in the travel bag. This should be clearly noted on the product so it's not a surprise. We took the base with us to the airport and had to break it apart and put it in the bag cover. Fortunately, my husband is a light packer and was able to put his bag inside the same bag so it would count as one carry on. However, it was extremely difficult to fit in the plane compartment and we almost had to check it. There should be enough room in the travel bag to fit the base with the car seat. The incentivized reviews that claim the base fits have clearly not traveled with the bag. Please make it clear somewhere on the packaging and/or on the website that the base does not fit in the bag so others don't have the same issues at the airport.

Does not allow the car seat to disconnect from the stroller

I bought this for my husband's car but this does not store the wheels so you have to decide if you're taking the wheels or not. Felt pointless at that point so returned

What is the point of this base? If I want to use the carrier to take my baby to the store I have to hope my wife is home so I can go into her car with the stroller, remove the carrier from the wheels there, then put the carrier in my car? Why can't I also have a base where I can put the entire stroller in and remove just the carrier. This is so stupid. Sell me the standard base!

Bought the extra base for my truck and if a grandparent needed it without having to move our primary base. But turns out the f the grandparent are keeping them they have the option of no wheels at all or wheels all the time defeats the all principal of removable wheels

VERY misleading. The accessory base does not operate the same way as the standard base that came with the car seat. The car seat can NOT be removed from the base without the wheels attached to the seat. That's the entire point of why people buy this car seat. Evenflow, instead of apologizing and telling everyone you'll take it into consideration for future designs, why don't you give people at least half their money back since it's half the product that everyone thought they were buying. Absolutely pathetic. You sell an expensive product and it doesn't even work the way people think it's going to.
