If you have 2 vehicles or even just need a spare base for the grandparents. The best feature of this base is that you can use it with the wheels attached to the car seat or not attached. However, you cannot leave the wheels in this base.

While I understand everyone's negative views on this base, for me if works since i have the original base installed in my car. However, as many have mentioned, I'm not sure why they couldn't just make the original base as an extra because it does defeat the purpose of getting a stroller/car seat combo. You buy it for that specific reason. Nonetheless, it works for us as my husband never got a hang of the stroller part so it doesn't bother him as much as it would have bothered me. I do think it's expensive. . . .

Extremely disappointed with this item! Coming from previous Doona user, evenflo completely missed the mark on this product. The flimsy way the elastic bands hold onto the carsest means I am trying to fix it multiple times during even a simple trip to the grocery store or doxtors visit. With Michigan's weather I was really looking forward to an item that would block most of the wind, rain and wet snow. A simple button or other fastener would keep a busy 5 months old feet from kicking it off constantly. The constant adjusting is beyond frustrating and could have been designed so much better, until they revamp this item, dont waste your money and just throw a blanket over the top.

Does not allow the car seat to disconnect from the stroller

What is the point of this base? If I want to use the carrier to take my baby to the store I have to hope my wife is home so I can go into her car with the stroller, remove the carrier from the wheels there, then put the carrier in my car? Why can't I also have a base where I can put the entire stroller in and remove just the carrier. This is so stupid. Sell me the standard base!

The wrong item was sent to me. I ordered the Storage bag and was sent a car seat base, without the option of returning it for them to send me the correct thing I ordered.

Please offer the original base as an option for purchase. We bought this car seat specifically for the feature of being able to separate the wheels from the carrier, but this base doesn't allow that. We need additional bases for mother, father, and grandparents to carry our baby, and everyone needs to have the ability to separate the two. Clearly, everyone wants the original base, and you are not listening to your customers. It's already a product that exists as part of the overall carrier package, so just let us buy it! If I had known this didn't work as it should, I would have bought a different product from the start.
