Evenflo Stratos Convertible Car Seat with SensorSafe Technology, Jet

Carseat was exactly as described. Material is very easy to clean and my toddler loves her seat more now than ever. Very plush cushioning and cup holders are so convenient. I thought it looked rather bulky when I took it out of the box but it fit in car perfectly without taking up more space than necessary. I love how the headrest is adjustable so she can grow with it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

Just what we were looking for! A more affordable option for a secondary vehicle. We got it on sale but even full price would have been reasonable. Shipping was on time. It fits much more snuggly than another band we tried initially. Nice material. We have been pleased with this product along with several other Evenflo items.

My boy loves his new seat and I also love that it has 3 reclining positions!!! And great product for the price!!! Love our new Stratos Evenflo car seats!!!

The value of this car seat is great. It is the perfect size for all children. It is very Durable. The maintenance on this product is very easy to take care of.

Car: 2008 Prius (Installed as rear facing) Features not labeled in product description but are good to know: Seat Depth/Width: See Pictures Buckle Storage: (See Picture) Feature used to keep buckle/straps away/open when placing child in seat. I like this feature! Not a Base/Carrier type of car seat. (My previous carrier/seat could separate from base fairly easily. More suitable for an infant.) Now I just say get out and walk yourself! Rear-Facing vs Front-Facing: The seat comes with this swinging portion attached to the bottom of the seat that is very easy to switch for rear-facing or front-facing. It is not a separate piece that needs to be removed and stored it is used for both situations. (You won't be like... "Where did I put that one piece I needed to make it front-facing?") Cup holder: (See Picture) Grey portion is removable. Great for cleaning.(Issue: not sure why they put holes in this insert, any liquid spills inside the insert just come out the holes and right on to the seat/leg area.) Headrest: (See Pictures)Adjusts upward for when your child grows. Exposes more strap adjustments for taller kids and seems pretty substantial(in terms of safety)! (Issue: Headrest(black portion in my picture) and Backrest(grey portion) are not on same plane(headrest is slightly raised) causing my child's head to push just a bit forward. It mostly affects when she starts falling asleep and starts to slouch a bit. It makes it almost impossible for her to fall asleep without her chin resting on her chest. Maybe a small cushion on her back would help this issue, but not sure if that affects the safety/operation of the seat.) The issue is not a deal breaker as I feel the cushion and the build of the headrest is most important for safety reasons. My issue rest more on comfort which is secondary to her safety. So far this has been a great car seat for the short time we have had it and I would recommend it.

I love the modern look of this car seat, it is not bulky at all. Has a lot of cushion so very comfy for long rides. It has removable cup holders in case baby needs a little more room. I have a honda pilot and it fits great rear facing,when I'm driving my husband is 6'4 so when he's driving baby might come up a little more but still looks comfortable to me. The seat is a little tricky to maneuver if you need to adjust the tether I couldn't figure out how to adjust it, and the cover came off when I was trying to lift it. Purchased 2 one for each car.

This car seat is the right balance of features/ comfort/ safety/ weight/ cost for our family. We purchased this as a second car seat to be used in taxis and for travel (on the airplane and for a hire car). The cost of purchase is equivalent to hiring a car seat so this paid for itself. The seat is easy to install and remove quickly in vehicles using the LATCH system and for me the upgraded sure latch system and fold out incline supports in this model (vs the sonus) was money well spent. It takes quite a lot of space when installed rearward facing but a front passenger can still fit with limited leg room in medium sized SUVs. My daughter is 31 inches tall and we used the top strap setting allowed for rear facing so sadly I'm not sure how much longer it will fit her for rear facing. The seat fitted easily in the AA economy seats on our flights. The seat is light enough to move around easily when strapped to other pieces of luggage and our daughter seemed comfortable enough seated in this. When installed forward facing on the plane, the seatbelt does fasten right behind the seat cover, but the seat padding seems thick enough that this didn't seem to bother our daughter. The seatbelt straps are a bit of a pain to fasten as they get twisted easy and don't glide as easily as our usual cybex sirona car seat, but I guess this is to be expected for the reduced weight/price point. The cup holders seem a bit unnecessary to me and they can't be used for rear facing anyway (as per the manual).

Love this seat! Looks comfy, cute and safe. My babe was so excited to take a seat as soon as I took it out of the box! I have it rear facing and was able to install without directions for the most part lol the only thing that kind of bugs is we constantly loose the cup holders because he loves throwing them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler loves this new car seat but I can't give it 5 stars because it sits very vertical compared to his infant seat and so when he falls asleep, his head drops down, chin to chest, instead of leaning back or to the side. It looks really uncomfortable when he sleeps and we worry about asphyxiation.

Our baby is is happy with the seat, works well for us. Only issue is while it's rear facing, it won't allow the front passenger seat to come back as far as other designs do
