Very lightweight and easy to travel with. It was nice and roomy for my 12 month old, he didn't seem squished or uncomfortable

We purchased this car seat primarily for its light weight and dimensions. The seat needs to be carried within a backpack tote and checked in at airports. The price is well worth it over the daily rental fees, and we'll be able use multiple times before it's outgrown. It does have top and bottom tether straps, which wasn't clear when I read the description.

Excellent for its purpose. Light and easy to travel with.

I've used this car seat for my son and it has held up great! Now currently buying a second one for my other son.

PROS: Low cost, lightweight, easy to clean/launder, detachable cup holder CONS: Very difficult to install properly rear-facing, can be difficult to uninstall, synthetic fabric gives LO a rash, shoulder straps dig into LO's neck causing pain and visible red marks but no should strap covers are on the parts website, no place to store the manual while using the LATCH system, straps aren't long enough to use the latch storage clips when in the lower belt path, so there isn't a good place to stuff the straps if your kid rear-faces in a car but needs to forward face on a plane without taking it apart and feeding the straps through the upper belt path
