Folded, not rolled splint.
Splint material like this is normally packaged in a ROLL. This arrived folded flat with 3 sharp bends. I’ve not yet put these to use, and since they’re for emergencies I hope I don’t need them. But the aluminum backing of these splints is by design soft so the splints can be molded to the injured part (wrist, ankle, etc.) and I’m concerned that it will be weakened at the sites of the sharp bends. I’ve always before seen this come in a roll. Time will tell. This does at least pack better into my medical kit.
