Ever Ready First Aid Warm Fire Retardant Blanket, 66" x 90" (80% Wool) - US Military Style - Olive Drab Green

Highly recommend for someone looking for a generic multiuse wool blanket. I can throw this on top of the bed during the winter for extra warmth, or can be used outside next the campfire and you won't have to worry about catching on fire because it is 100% wool, can be used as a picnic blanket to sit on, or you can simply use it as a shipping blanket in the back of the car. Uses are for your imagination to run wild. FYI- wash before using to make nice and soft and get rid of the loose fibers. I am very happy with this purchase and plan to use whenever and whenever needed. Fairly inexpensive, so no worries if needing to be replaced.

Do NOT let the fact its made of 80% wool stop you from Buying this! It's SO WARM and it's HUGE , it's not a throw size but more like a full size blanket . It does have a smell to it UNTIL you wash it . All you have to do is wash it in cold water with fabric softener and then dry on low heat with a fabric softener sheet. It will have lots of lint after you dry it so CLEAN your lint trap after you dry it. I'm so happy with this I went back and bought another one.

This blanket is sold as flame retardant and is quite stiff. The softer ones are more expensive. This one may not be as comfortable but we have sheets to put under it. Plus, it's a good size and a very welcome addition to our winter emergency tote!

The item is as described. I use it in the winter over my bedding to stay warm at night. I bought two the second for my cat. This is a soft and very warm blanket.

Awesome, super warm, and heavy duty wool balnket. was just what I was looking for. 1 complaint is they came smelling of diesel fuel, oil, exhaust. I dunno if its from where they where stored, or if they where coated in something maybe something spilled on them. They had to be aired out, and treated with odoban. Smell still lingered, but that is only compliant, and at this price. I can deal with it

I thought that this item would be equivalent to a used Army blanket. However this blankets texture is much coarser, rougher, stiffer, and heavier than an Army blanket. While I don't dislike it enough to send it back, I was disappointed that it's more like the blankets you use in the back of a U-Haul truck to protect your furniture from damage, than a blanket you would put on your bed.

The ordered blanket size per description is 66"x60", but delivered item is smaller - 62"x80". And the Seller is not communicating well. Really bad experience...

It's a thin wool blanket but for the price you can't really complain about it. The stitching on the other hand is substandard. I washed it per instructions on gentle cycle and the stitching on one corner come undone and it frayed. The stitching could at least be decent. I've ordered two more to see if it's a quality issue or mishap with the one. If it's a quality issue I'll send them all back. Washed it because the chemical treatment smell on it is insanely strong!

We've washed this thing numerous times, hung it out in the fresh air then washed it some more----It still stinks. I would not put it in my car as the smell would render the car unusable. we're going to try washing again and again. Hate this thing !

The blanket smelled like mothballs when I got it. I washed it and it started to crumble and still smelt like mothballs. Very poor product. The blanket was extremely dusty. It left small particles wherever I set it down. I had to vacuum up the particles.
