It took forever for this item to arrive but it finally did today! This product, Everstart assorted connectors, that should be in every room box! There is a wide variety of connectors in the package; ring, splice, forked and male & female slide connectors. They are designed to make your wiring task easy.

This is a very nice set of connectors. There are a variety of connectors for a total of 48 connectors for most types of jobs that you would need to use them for. Any wire that is 16 - 14 gauge is ideal for these connectors. Whether you need a zip connect, crimping connect or what have you, these will make the job go nice and smooth. From electronics to speaker wire, there is a connector that is sure to work for your needs. We use them for repairing guitar amps, small electrical welding jobs on a circuit board and speaker wire. These have proved to be reliable in the past and will continue to be reliable on future projects. The only negative aspect is that this packaging doesn’t provide a handy, divided case for easy storage of the connectors that one can mark the sizes of the connectors on. With the current packing, you risk misplacing a couple of connectors or dropping them on the floor and having them scatter everywhere once the packing is opened. Other than that, these are very handy to keep on hand for those odd jobs that pop up or for the professional who uses them frequently.

I don't deal with household repairs but my husband does. He loves this handy set of different electric repair kits. He said it has so many uses and they gives me piece of mind that he can make repairs faster by this kit being included in his toolbox.

Everstart 16-14 gauge Assorted connects as my husband said the are the best thing since electrical tape. These came in handy for my new car stereo, speakers and would work for anything of such. He has many projects that will be needing the variety connects that are in the multi package. If you are a car person it would be great addition to have the assorted connects. Actually these are good for multiple car projects.

It was just what we needed to make a repair! This kit has a variety of connectors for different applications, so it is really handy to have around. The connector was easy to use. They attach by crimping the connector to the wire. You can crimp it onto the wire with a pliers which you probably already have. Save some money and fix it yourself!

Being an assortment there will probably be several connectors you won't use, but overall this is a pretty good selection of useful connectors for automotive or other low-voltage electrical work. If you do a lot of such work, this isn't the right set for you, but it's fine for casual use. Like all crimp style connectors, these work better with a good crimping tool instead of the junk "crimper" spots on most wire stripper tools. It takes a little practice to get a good crimp and a better crimping tool certainly helps a lot. If you only need a couple of connectors, this assortment may still cost less than buying just the connectors you need.
