A excellent way to get dust off a wood floor and pet hair n dander off the bed n comforter it also works great getting hair n lint out of tops it doesn't matter if they r made of rayon, polyester or cotton. Its not so sticky that it pulls the material although I wouldn't recommend using this on silk if u do use it lightly. Tearing the long pieces off is super easy and it usually picks up whatever is in the area you're rolling over. Lint that is deep in the fiber can come out but it usually will leave a small tear in the thread of the fabric so use ur best judgement deciding if the risk is worth trying it. I completely recommend this lint roller. Oh also works great on car n truck seats

It's very large, so it can collect more lint/fur at once before you have to peal off the top layer for a new sheet. Just be prepared because it is quite large/wide, so for small hands, it might be just a little much for clothing. It is great for furniture.
