The only difficulty I had was installing the new battery as I was inexperienced in doing so, and it took several attempts of trying to install the new battery before I realized the small black cap needed to be removedfor battery installation. I ended up looking online for installation instructions.
I like the 6-volt batteries, but the packing material was a little bit cheap for the heavy items inside. I expected the packing material to be better. The batteries just moved around in the box.
We had a flashlight that works great...with the right battery. These are heavy as can be but reliable and last a lengthy amount of time. Therefore, not a bad value for the money.
Very good battery quality. However, if you just want an ordinary battery, the batteries are 999 and a brand new floatable flashlight, including ordinary battery is 1099 so it has a bulb the screw on glass plate that keeps it water tight. You choose what you wish to order.
I was surprised Walmart didn't have it in the local store but was shipped at no charge and I received it in a few days.
still have a lantern and still need a 6volt battery that are getting ha4d to find... found it at Walmart
Connecting this Battery was/is not easy, took me a while, and I ask my neubohr to help me. Something you just have to ask for Help, Life is not perfect.
I ordered a battery 5 volt from this company a while back and this is the second time I've reordered it. I've now research and both times they have sent me expired batteries from 8-2020!! I had to research it but I finally figured out and was able to verify that they both times they sent me expired batteries this is unacceptable I wish Walmart would address these complaints and be better quality control. especially when it comes to batteries and storms the last thing you need is a leaking battery or battery that's expired when you go to use it.
I would not recommend this product. It didn't last very long. The battery was very weak very unimpressed.
This was the vendor's fault, not Walmart's! The battery was not as pictured and the vendor would only take it back for a refund it I mailed it back to them. The battery was so heavy, postage would have cost more than the refund. So I donated the battery.
