Evergrade EVK316K 16V Cordless Sander Kit with 3/16" Offset EVR-EVK316K

I purchased both the 2.5 and 5.0mm orbit sanders. They have nice power and feel balanced and comfortable to operate. I was pleasantly surprised that both came with a 5 inch and 6 inch backing plate. You can get two of these for the price of a Milwaukee and these Evergrade sanders feel, sound and function every bit as nice as the Milwaukee.

The Evergrade RGX Pro 332 arrived well packed, retail box, inside a larger box. Inside the retail box the Hard case, Sander, batteries, charger, a wrench and 6 sanding pads of various grits along with the user manual which oddly is for the RGX Pro 316. The two are identical in operation so perhaps the manufacturer didn't give it much thought. Each in their own formed section in the foam liner. The sander does not come with a dust collection bag or adapter for a vacuum, those are optional extras. Thankfully I was able to obtain both after speaking with the representative before testing the sander. Honestly, there wasn't any need to wait. The gap between the body of the sander and the sanding plate is well over 1/8th inch which results in most of the dust that could go into the dust collection bag fanning out of the gap and onto the surrounding work area. Virtually none of the sanding dust ended up in the dust collector. Using the vacuum attachment adapter faired a bit better but that gap is just too wide and the majority of the dust still exits between the body and the plate. Even so, the sander is reasonably easy to control with one hand (make sure your work piece is secure). The noise level is reasonable on lower speeds but gets into danger territory at the highest speeds hitting 91 decibels before contacting the work surface. Hearing protection should be worn especially when using the sander at higher speeds. On that, gloves and eye protection would be a very good idea as well. The sanding plate is fully exposed and at speed could cause injury to unprotected hands. The hook and loop connection for sanding discs works well and is much stronger than the adhesive method noted in the user manual. I would recommend removing the battery before attempting to install or remove sanding discs. I gave the sander 5 stars because overall, it functions well, is very lightweight, is easy to handle and the 2Ah batteries provide plenty of power. The included fast charger is indeed a fast charger and performs well, though like the sander, the fitment of the battery to the charger isn't the best. The batteries fit snugly but the gap between the charger and outer shell of the battery is very pronounced. On the tool side, the gap is small but enough for sanding dust to find its way between the tool and battery. Sanders create dust, lots of it. That's a given, but this sander would be so much better if the gap were tighter between the sanding plate and the body of the sander. There is an optional 5 inch sanding plate available for those who need a slightly smaller diameter sander. One final note, this sander does NOT have a rotation brake. At low speeds it takes 10 seconds to come to a stop and 12 at high speeds. You should lift the sander away from the work surface when stopping anyway but those used to having a brake or new to this type of sander should take special note.

This is a very nice sander. Arrived promptly. The storage case for it is very very sturdy. The sandpaper it came with is a nice quality. I really liked that it didnt vibrate the crap out of my hand and arm!! Nice instructions booklet. My only complaint is I wish it had come with a dust bag. I'm sure I'll be able to find one though. My pics are just testing it out. I spent about 5 mins sanding with it on the lowest speed. Works good I think.

This finishing dual action sander is extremely nice. The carrying case it comes with is a nice touch, and the sander itself works wonderfully. It has a couple second delay on the palm button, to ensure you start with the sander already touching your material , to prevent gouging. The power is great for a battery powered sander. The quality of the sander itself is very nice, and it comes with a charger for the battery packs, and 2 batteries. It also has a port for dust collection. Overall , I would definitely recommend this product.

very high quality case similar to pelican case everything had foam cut outs. easy to operate no hoses to drag around sander preforms very well variable 5 speed adjustments. ergonomically and comfortable to use. has vacuum port.operation is not complicated. can be used from the small jobsto the largest job.

This functions differently than the sanders I've used in the past, but this is way easier to use. It's lightweight, but not cheap feeling. It seems like it will last a long time. Easy to operate and doesn't fatigue hands like other sanders do. I like the adjustable speeds and nice carrying/ storage case. Seems to be a high quality item; we'll test it on a few projects to see how it does long term.

This sander feels built more for control than speed. The smaller 2.5mm (3/32") orbit is noticeable right away, it doesn’t remove material aggressively, but it stays consistent and predictable, which makes a big difference when you’re working on surfaces where the finish actually matters. What stood out most is how steady it feels during use. It doesn’t jump or pull in different directions, even when you slow down your movement. That makes it easier to keep everything even, especially on detail work or when you’re trying to avoid over-sanding. The motor runs smoothly without feeling strained, and the overall operation feels more refined compared to heavier-cut sanders. It’s also a bit easier on the hands during longer sessions because of that controlled movement. Battery setup is practical. Having two batteries included makes it easier to keep going without stopping, and swapping them out is quick enough that it doesn’t interrupt your workflow. The included accessories are usable and fit properly. The sanding discs align well with the pad, which helps with dust control. It’s not a completely dust-free setup, but it’s manageable, especially if connected to a vacuum. Where this tool fits best is in finishing work, smoothing surfaces, refining edges, and cleaning up after heavier sanding has already been done. If you try to use it for aggressive material removal, it will feel slow, but that’s not what it’s designed for. This is more of a precision-focused tool. If the goal is a smoother, more controlled finish, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Wow, this is a serious piece of equipment, The sander arrived quickly and it comes with a padded case to keep everything organized and safe, it has 2 rechargeable batteries and the charger, a wrench, the instruction manual and the warranty card, anding discs and the tool. The batteries are already pre charged right out of the box, the battery is very easy to attach it has a red arrow on both the tool and the battery so you know exactly how to install it. The intensity of this sander is definitely professional grade, 1 is even very intense to sand with, we had it up to the highest speed and it sands like a dream, there is a spot to attach a shop vac to catch the dust. It is a bit loud but you need to expect that with any tool. I'm seriously impressed with this sander. I'm looking as I type for more projects to sand right now.

This lightweight and powerful (up to 10,000 RPM's) orbital sander is really great for small jobs. There is no cord - it runs on battery. Attachment of the sanding disc couldn't be easier - just place it on the velcro head of the sander. It fits nicely in the palm of my hand. Besides being lightweight it is really fast, not noisy at all, there is little no vibration, and has a profile that is low and allowed me to get beneath the railing on my stairway to fix some areas I had messed up on previously. It took me less than 5 minutes to sand down and smooth the areas that needed attention. Now all I have to do is paint it again. It comes with 2 - 16 Volt batteries, each charged up fully within 30 minutes. It also came with 6 sanding discs - 80, 180, 240, 320, 400, and 600 grit. I was missing a part and called Evergrade. This is an excellent company and people to deal with. They returned my call within 5 minutes and immediately shipped the part to me.
