This is not a basic, entry-level sander. The first thing that stands out is how complete the kit is, you’re getting the tool, two batteries, charger, sanding discs, and a hard case, which immediately makes it feel like something intended for consistent use, not just occasional projects.
In hand, the weight and balance feel intentional.
It’s not overly light, but that actually works in its favor because it keeps the sander stable on the surface instead of bouncing around. The 5.0mm (3/16") orbit hits a good middle ground, aggressive enough to remove material efficiently, but still controlled enough to avoid leaving uneven patterns if you keep proper movement.
The brushless motor is noticeable. It runs smoother than expected, and the vibration is there (as it always is with this type of tool), but it’s not excessive or fatiguing right away. After a longer session, you’ll still feel it in your hands, but that’s normal for this category.
Battery performance is one of the better parts of this kit. Having two batteries included makes a real difference, you can rotate them and keep working without long interruptions. The charger is straightforward, nothing complicated.
Dust control is decent, not perfect. It does collect a fair amount, but like most sanders in this class, it benefits a lot from being connected to a vacuum if you want a cleaner workspace.
The included case is a nice touch. It’s rigid, organized, and actually useful, not one of those cases you throw away after opening.
Everything fits back in without forcing it.
Where this sits:
Not a beginner toy
Not a top-tier professional brand replacement either
It lands in that middle space where it’s capable enough for serious DIY, detailing work, or regular use without paying premium-brand pricing
If you’re expecting something ultra-light and effortless, this isn’t that. If you want something that feels planted, controlled, and capable of real work, this delivers.
