It fit well. wife had a hysterectomy and this got her through many weeks of discomfort. the open slot allowed her to add ice packs to keep the groin cool.

I am giving this item a five star because except for one thing, it really, really is good for my back lower back. The only bad thing is the size--a bit smallish. If it came in extra large, it would be perfect. Please consider that a full figure individual may need a bigger pillow.

This item has been a welcome addition to my pillow collection! I really like the way it is constructed.....it can be used as a solid shape, but sometimes I need the middle insert removed to ease pressure points. The smaller size helps to make my special place on the sofa much more comfortable!

A great seat for my car as well as when we are on the lawn mower for quite a while. Saves pains we used to have for sitting so long on our tailbone.

This pad is absolutely perfect...I get shingles repetitively on my tail bone, which hurts like the dickens....it makes it really hard to sit... full stop. I tried a different one first and it was a total disappointment it cost more and it just wasn't doing the job...I found that the memory foam gave too easily and I was still getting pressure on my tailbone... so this is the one I really wanted because of its features... it was more rigid foam a larger pull out section and a channel that also aids in no pressure....Ohh my, sigh of relief when sitting on it... it felt like I didn't have shingles nothing was putting any pressure on the area which is great.....because even the slightest pressure causes great pain....and then what is also great about the pad is that when you don't have an issue with your tail feathers...it transforms into the perfect chair pad by placing the center section back in... very comfortable....I give this a product rating of out of ten...a 100!

I bought this because of a persistent and increasing pain from my tailbone. It has helped a lot. I have had enough improvement that I can sit without the donut and be comfortable.

needed after a surgery. very sturdt, comfortable and versatile due to the additional optional cross piece that can be added when cushion needed for a char cushion adter " donut cushion" use no longer needed.

I like the softness of the cushion and the insert which covers the doughnut hole when not in use. Very convenient removable washable cover. Would be great if the doughnut hole was a little larger and deeper. Overall the device serves the purpose it was intended for.

Everything about this product IS perfect except the size. Mine is 13" x 16", as opposed to 15" x 18". The cushion doesn't have enough width to make for stable seating. When I sit down, my thighs and butt protrude over the edge of the seat making it unstable and uncomfortable. The cushion gets lost when when you sit down, minimizing the effect of the cushion itself. The hole in the middle could use another 1" of width also. Realistically, a 15" x 18" would be a better size for me. This particular cushion, in my opinion, is adolescent sized.
