Easy to obtain blood sample (very clear video and written instructions). Results were fast and I felt confident of their accuracy. I was very surprised to also receive a call from a clinical care representative to discuss an abnormal level. I would (and have) purchase more everylywell tests. So easy- not to mention I was able to use my HSA to purchase the tests. Highly recommend!
I'm young, in-shape, yet my cholesterol was high. I used Everlywell's tests to get my cholesterol undrr control! I hate going to the doctor and honestly I wouldn't unless 100% necessary so I'm glad I can use these tests to fix my everyday health simple issues! I was eating way too much ice cream, Alfredo sauce, and cheese. I have learned how to balance mt diet so I can keep my cholesterol at a healthy level and I could not have done this without Everlywell! I will not stop buying tests here!! I love this place!!!
I've known for years something was wrong with my thyroid, test results never detected the problem. I took this at home test, results came back and am now on medication to regulate Mt thyroid. 8 yrs of telling doctors something is wrong and no one believed me until now. Advocate for your own health.
I am high risk. Last year I was on doxycycline long term. It missed up my vitamin d, cholesterol, triglycerides too. So i worked on all of thrm. Due to being high risk i don't go inside anywhere. Now i do telehealth doctor appointments and this is how I check my levels. Everything was better except my triglycerides. I have decided to quit diet soda and recheck it in 6 months.
I have been with Everlywell for over a year. I chose to monitor my cholesterol after starting a popular high fat diet which promoted itself as a diet that would actually lower my cholesterol and allow me to stop taking Lipitor. Well nine months later and 3 Everlywell tests later...I became aware that my cholesterol had skyrocketed 52 points! Thank you Everlywell for making it so easy for me to stay on top of it! BTW: dropped the diet!
My Cholesterol has always been high. I have been pressured over and over to take statins. I took statins once and will never do it again. Statins made me sick from head to toe and in two weeks my health was wrecked. So I have done everything I could to lower my cholesterol and the best I could doo was 207 total. But I couldn't keep it there no matter how restrictive and active I was. BUT, I recently found out I had a Thyroid condition went on a Thyroid medication and I read that the thyroid controls not only vitamin D but Cholesterol as well. And to my great surprise I had my first Optimal Cholesterol result in my adult life. To know that a doctor cannot look down on me in disgust is priceless.
This is now the 3rd heart health test I've used to track my cholesterol. 1.5 years ago I was an outwardly health person with shockingly awful cholesterol. I completely changed my diet and this test was an essential tool to enable me to regularly track progress. And after seeing a plateau on the 2nd test I was able to adjust my diet again and now my cholesterol is perfect. The test is accurate and results are super fast.
Just got my cholesterol results and they are about the same as my doctor's so the lab they use appears "legit". Because of this I may do another of their tests. Customer service rep was super nice but it took several days to get a hold of someone but they did finally respond. Only strange thing was I got a call after I got the results from someone with poor communication skills telling me my results were abnormal - well I already knew that and I felt my privacy was a bit invaded by that call.
I am not sure if I would buy this cholesterol and lipid test again because even though it gave me high results, I had my cholesterold, lipids tested in a lab in my town by my doctor and that result was twice as high! So, how do I know which one is correct??
DON'T BUT THIS FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. Bought this through Walmart online on Oct 1. It arrived on Oct 3. I used it 18 days later and sent in that day - Oct 22. I registered online as instructed. I checked daily to see results. Their website said results would be available Oct 25th. When I checked on Oct 25th... the registered kit was gone. Contacted their "customer service" and was told I would have to BUY a new kit because that one was expired. They offered me 15% off a $49 kit!! I have pleaded with them over and over to provide me a replacement kit. I provided proof of purchase. They refused to replace. Nowhere on the kit did it flag such a quick expiration date. Save yourself the aggravation and time. Don't waist your money!!
