I TRIED IT FOR THE 1ST TIME THIS MORNING, IT WAS REAL EASY, YOU JUST NEED TO DO IT WHERE ITS BRIGHTEST IN YOUR HOUSE SO YOU CAN SEE IF U DID TO MUCH. I DID MINE IN FRONT OF COMPUTER, BUT NEXT TIME I WILL BE DOING IT IN THE BATHROOM WHERE THE LIGHT IS BRIGHT. I LIKE THE PRODUCT, BEFORE THIS I WAS USING WATER PROFF MASCARA TO COVER MY HAIRLINE ROOTS, THIS IS WAY BETTER
I am a forty-eight year old woman. I have three children ages fourteen, fourteen, and eight years old. One of the problems I have to deal with is gray hair. I have had gray strands ever since I was in my twenties. However, now they have taken over my head. That is not something I want to have when I have young children, because when we are out and about people will think I am their grandmother!! So, I have to use something to cover up the grays that will not be permanent or damage my hair. I decided to use Everpro Beauty Gray Away for women. When I opened the box I was expecting to see a long drawn out list of instructions. Well, I was wrong. There were no instructions in the box. All of the instructions were right on the can. That is my kind of product! I shook the can as instructed and sprayed the Gray Away on my hair. It was pretty nice to have instant gray coverage. I usually have to go through this LONG hair dyeing process that takes at least forty-five minutes, but not this time. The gray was gone instantly and I was very pleased. There was no flaking or irritation on my scalp. My scalp is VERY sensitive and many products cause me to itch like crazy, but this one was great! This Gray Away will wash out when I shampoo and I think that is wonderful.
I have to say this is the best temporary root concealer that I've have ever used. This is the only product that has ever actually hidden the grey and is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. I did over spray my forehead at first and that was an easy fix. It seemed to make my hair a bit shinier as it starts to get dull right before you are due for another color. Usually I have to dye my hair like every 5 weeks and the grey hair on the right side start to show around week 4..drives me crazy. This product took out the most stubborn grey. I did rinse out after a few shampoos but it got me through an event without an emergency trip to the hairdresser. It has absolutely saved me!!! I will always keep a can of Everpro Beauty Gray, black/dark brown in my medicine cabinet for those in between;s or an emergency cover-up.
Check out the photos I attached to this review...the pictures speak a thousand words. Pros: Blends well with existing hair Covers Well - perfect for in between hair coloring (which can get expensive and time consuming) Doesn't Clump (Hair looks perfectly natural) Easy To Apply - took me less than a minute to apply and then let it dry. Hold a little further away for a even application. Also spray in small spurts so you can control it better. If you spray too long in one spot, it will stain your scalp. Goes On Smoothly Should get several applications out of this, since I only had to use a few squirts to cover the gray. the can is still pretty full. Cons: None really, but do not touch it for a few minutes after application. Else it will stain your hands. It takes a few tries to get it just right. Its better if someone can spray it for you, but its really a very simple tool to use. Bottom line, I plan to use this regularly for in between touch ups!
Everpro Beauty Gray Away for Women Temporary Root Concealer, Black/Dark Brown, 1.5 oz., is a product that truly delivers what it promises! This product has the potential to save me hundreds if not thousands of dollars as a replacement to expensive hair treatments at the salon. It is so easy to use, it is portable, and it is effective. The main trick is to pick the color that best matches your overall hair color. Now that I am over 40, I have gray hairs at my temples and down my part. The rest of my hair is dark brown, and this spray color works like a charm. It perfectly blends with my natural color, and covers virtually all of the gray. In order to apply the spray to areas close to skin, such as the temples, I dab some of the spray on my fingertips. I also experimented with spraying the color onto a brush and brushing it through my hair in order to reach deeper layers of my hair. It really is temporary color. It washes out of the hair with one wash, and some color does rub off on your skin when you run your fingers through your hair. For me, this was no big deal. I accidentally spilled a drop of the hair color on my shirt, but it rinsed out completely with soap and water. It is similar to how you use hair spray, but it does not leave the hair with any stiffness or stickiness. It melds flawlessly with my hair--I couldn't be happier with the results. Just as I don't leave the house without wearing mascara or lipstick, I also won't leave the house without covering up my gray hair. Everpro makes it quick and easy to appear 10 years younger!
I have black hair and when nature decides to highlight it, (grays) it really shows. I had over an inch of gray hair that needed to be covered and this worked! The nozzled on the spray can is one that allows for more of a controlled spray. Recommended for use on dry hair. It also reads to keep the mist moving while spraying. No problem doing that. I used two coats to fully cover. Black hair with grays seems to take a bit more product. It dried nicely and washed out the next day with no issue. I saw no residue on my pillowcase but if you rub your hand on the sprayed area (firmly) you will see colorant. I think this is a good product for times when you don't want to color either to protect your hair, save money or simply have a busy lifestyle.
I color my hair monthly or every 2 months and I always look for hair coloring that doesn't damage my hair and very affordable. This one I like - I like it very much. I know it's only a temporary cover-up but this suits me perfectly when I am travelling. I love that they have a nozzle that aim where the grays are showing. And most of all I can use it over and over until it's empty. It said 20 uses, but I think I could have more uses than 20... so that was a plus for me. Anyhow, I think this is also good for streaking. I haven't done it yet but I am planning to - am going to check their colors. I love that it got it's own nozzle to aim the area you want covered. I really think this would be good for hairdo partial or segment coloring. I love that this is only temporary where I can do streaking during the weekends then shampoo it off and be on my 'normal' dark brown color again during the weekdays. What a great I idea! Thanks Everpro Root Concealer... I can't wait to get different colors to experiment streaking my hair on my own.
have shoulder length dark brown hair and have been coloring it to cover the gray regrowth since I was 35 y/o and now at 54 I am so glad that I have discovered Everpro Gray Away. Now I won't have to color my hair every 4 weeks. I just started using it and believe that I will be able to go 8 weeks before I'll have to color my hair. Cutting back to 8 every weeks means that I will only have to color my hair 6x a year vs. 12 times =time, money and a hair savings. I know my husband will be glad too since he's the one that helps me with coloring the back of my head! When you use this be sure to let it dry for a few minutes before styling. For the front of my hair I pull the layers back with a headband so that I can get to the regrowth around the hairline and keep the headband in until it dries. Sally's doesn't even have an item like this or at least not the Sally's in my area (near Memphis, TN). The Black/Dark Brown matches my hair perfectly (I am fair/medium complected with blue eyes) and this doesn't look artificial even in florescent or natural lighting -YAY! I can't say good enough things about this and I would highly recommend this and I am very difficult to please!

The root concealer is not a product that I would use on a regular basis. First, there are not many colors to choose from and since my hair is an Auburn red I chose the Dark Brown. The product was easy to apply as long as you keep the nozzle away from your scalp. This was the first time I have used a product like this so it took a few times of spritzing the area to cover the hair and not just the scalp area. Once I brushed the product through my hair it did begin to blend into the hair so i was not rushing to the shower to remove the product. Do let the product dry for at least thirty minutes before touching the area with your hands or you may end up with color on your fingertips. I did keep the concealer on my hair through the night to test the concealer if it would come off on my bedding which it did not. I was ready to shampoo the product out of my hair by the next day due to the drying effect it was having on my hair. But I would use this product on rare occassions if there were a time I needed a touchup and could not color my hair before the event.
