I've been meaning to try these for a long time, and I have to say they work pretty good. I took my time to get the wires in the right place, then with the heat gun it just melted beautifully around the wires, nice and tight. I was really taking my time making sure everything was melted as possible, and the little metal part kind of just wrapped around the wire in a nice way. Just a matter of sliding one of these on one wire first, making the connection, the sliding back over the connection and heating up with hot air. so simple and quick, and it makes connections look a lot cleaner and more professional.

There is a learning curve to get these to work just right. No problem, but do not start with the mission-critical situation. I would recommend wasting a few figuring out the right temperature and time to get the best results. Once you get the hang of it, these are very easy to work with and will purchase these again.
