Everstart 79-Piece Assorted Connector Kit

My dad is a self-made auto engineer and works in every facet of the industry as a hobby, building vehicles from Trucks to Trikes from the ground up and has over 50 years exp. We recommend Ever Start brand for connectors because of their quality! There are 79 pieces in this kit which gave us a huge variety, ring and spade thermals, splices, slides, snaps, and quick connects.. Very easy wire insertion, and I love the handy case that comes with it, which helps us keep them sorted with easy access... We have used other brands but keep coming back to Ever Start. It's a brand you can trust every time from batteries to connects like these. Purchase, you won't be sorry!

There's such a wide range of connectors in this kit it will take a long time to use them all up, but perfect to have on hand for whenever a need arises. High quality which is very important. Photos show making a wiring repair on a motorcycle. I highly recommend this kit for anyone who has the occasional wiring project so you will know it will most likely have just what you need.

It met all my criteria for immediate use with extras.

It was easy to use, but could provide an insert on how to connect just for people that have not used these before.

I tried this out on my old truck, since it needed some wires spliced, and a new connector or two to replace those that were either broken or came undone. Right off the bat, I must tell you to have a crimping tool handy, because this kit doesn't have one, and pliers don't seem to want to do the job. I happen to have a couple of crimping tools, so that wasn't a problem for me. The kit had every connector from plugins to lugs, and everything in between. All of those worked equally well which I had expected them to. This is a good product, again, IF you either have, or purchase a crimping tool. I would definitely recommend this for purchase on the selection of connectors, and the wire sizes they will handle.

These connectors do what they are designed to do. They are not the best I’ve ever used, but they are ok. I’d have to pay more to get better quality. The packaging was not the best for shipping. Several days of the connectors had fallen out of the package and were loose in the shipping box.

Of course haven’t had a chance to use all the items in the assortment but it does look like a nice variety. Only complaint so far was that the package had loosened up in transit so all 79 pieces were loose all over the box. Looks like many of these will come in handy for projects around the house great assortment.

Great kit if you need a wide assortment of parts and only need one or two of any type of connector for a job, but there aren't very many of any type of connector. If you have a bigger job that requires more than a couple of any type, you might not be able to finish it with what's in this kit. If it's a small fix, though, or you're just looking to add to your collection of spares, this is a great kit. My only other complaint besides having too few of each type was the packaging: it's a cheap plastic case that comes open way too easily. When mine arrived, all of the connectors had been dumped out of the case and into the shipping box and had to be resorted, but a bit of tape fixed that problem.

I had this shipped to me and it arrived in a couple days. Instantly without opening the box I knew everything wasn't there. It was all jumbled and there were many empty pockets that should have had parts in them. Opened and counted them up and there are 64 of the 79 pieces present. Is this the manufacturer's fault? Item was sealed but it's Walmart so who knows. It's always a gamble when you get something delivered or shipped from them. DON'T buy this to ship or delivery. You'll probably end up with a similar fate. Keeping this because I need the few parts and don't have time to return, but maybe someone else will think twice about buying them.

The manufacturer used the weakest possible materials. The crimping connectors came apart when I tried to squeeze them. I then tried in a small vice , gently, the metal is not even slightly maliable.
