My husband installed this in the back of his box truck. He said it was very easy to install. We love the fact that it has covers on each side to prevent moisture and dust from getting into it. It's great to have the extra charge capability. Great product. Highly recommended!

This outlet works in my husband's truck. I didn't install it myself, so I can't say if it is easy to install. He said he just had to wire it in. It only took him a couple of minutes. I picked it to have extra power sources for long trips or camping. So far so good, no issues.

I really like these, but some instructions would have really helped so much! Why are there no instructions? I had to look up online how to install it and although it was easy to install I had never installed anything like this, so would it really have been that big of a deal to include a quick how to sheet? It looks really nice once installed and has stayed in place. It also works great. I have been able to charge my phone while on the road and it is so nice!! The quality seems to be great and very durable and it comes with screws to stabilize them. I would love to see these in different colors! I would recommend and buy again for sure even without instructions because I was able to find it fairly easily but that is why I took one star away because I feel that is something that should be given.

I'm going to confess that I know next to nothing about electricity and wires and all that stuff, I just want it to work when I need it. So, I asked my brother, who is electrical savvy, to do the actual installation. As far as that goes he said it was fairly easy to do, though I will note that there were no instructions on the packaging so it helps if you already know what you are doing or get a little help like I did. The double outlet is not exactly plug-and-play so it does take some time and a little work for prep and to do the actual wiring. The outlet seems to be made of fairly sturdy materials. It's plain black in color so I can't exactly say it's pretty but it is functional and the double outlet is pretty handy for two devices or if you have a second person with you in the car. So far it's been in use pretty much every day over the last couple of weeks give or take. We've been out camping so it's been used mostly for cell phone charging and the like. We've plugged in an iPhone 6s and a Samsung Galaxy S9 and it's done the job just fine. Overall I'm pretty happy with the EverStart auxiliary dual outlet so far...

It was easy to install it, watch a YouTube and followed directions. Adds much needed extra power outlets to my car especially handy during road trips in which couple of people are charging their phones, the GPS is plugged in and so on. Definitely must buy!

I got the EverStart Auxiliary Dual 12 Volt Power Outlet and mounted it to our golf cart. So for when we're out away from electricity and need to charge something. We go camping a lot. And can use this for cellphones and a nebulizer mostly. The caps included are good to keep out dirt and moisture. It can be a lifesaver in some situations. Definitely a handy item to have.
