Absolutely perfect! Easy to handle, not in the least bit bulky. So inexpensive and well worth it. Used it on the shrink wrap I put on my Easter Baskets. Came out looking as if a professional decorated these baskets. I can't wait until those receiving my baskets see how BEAUTIFULLY they turned out. Highly recommend purchasing this Handheld Heat Gun! No experience needed, a breeze to operate,
Get it!! This heat gun is AMAZING and you just can't beat the price. I bought a $30 one from somewhere else and this one goes higher in heat, the cord is 2 feet longer and it's not loud. I never leave reviews but this gun is so amazing that I couldn't resist! I use it for all kinds of crafts. I highly recommend it!!! :-)
Awesome price for a solid heat gun. I used it for a phone screen repair and it worked like a charm. Super easy to use and definitely worth the few bucks.
This heat gun is amazing. It's very easy to use and it heats up super fast so be careful. I like it's size and it's really easy to handle. It also cools down fast too, so that's nice. I highly recommend this heat gun.
Longer electric cord is needed. Perhaps suggest an extension cord when purchasing? Otherwise, here in the desert, when your neighbors move in with colonies of bed bugs, heat is your best combat tool. I've bought one for myself and all my surrounding elderly neighbors. Once we see the little critters, we attack them with heat and then track the trail back to the colony, where more heat is applied. But be careful!! This little heat gun, melts plastic quickly and will burn your skin. Respect the business end of this heat gun. The body of the unit stays cool to the touch when use. This is a great tool in the fight against bed bugs and at a price that we fixed incomers are able to afford! note: do not use the "deflector" - simply aim the hot air directly at the offending bug. When it blows away, it has been eliminated!!!!
It may be a great product for very small projects. For a variety of projects I would buy a larger unit with a variable speed set up. This would be an excellent unit if you needed it for making something like jewelry.
Great for heat-shrinking of wiring connections or thawing frozen pipes. Safer than using propane torches. More control and less concern about starting fire.
I use the item one time and it broke. I did receive a refund however this was horrible as I needed it for a job that was time limited and I had to figure something else out, but it was horrible and it completely shut off after one use and I cannot reuse it. I tried to let it cool down and restart it that didn't work so I waited a whole day and nothing still. I looked online for any troubleshooting and could not find anything. It's a horrible product.
I used it for less than 5 hours and it refused to turn back on. it's useless. when it worked it was just ok. in the middle of a project I had to go buy another heat gun. just avoid this and buy a quality heat gun
Just purchased it. Plugged it in, turned it on and thought "wow this is noisy compared to other heat guns I've used." After being on less than two minutes a flame flared out of the end and there was a loud POP. After I unplugged it, I realized the housing of the gun had also begun to melt. I guess, I'm glad it caught fire before the plastic started melting into my hand....
