I have the big one(has everything)that we keep in our minivan.Since I already had a separate little cigarett powered compressor,it made sense to get this smaller,lighter one to carry in our Highlander.Like insurance,hope we only ever need it to help the other fellow.

Initial charging to receive full capacity was around 40 hours I believe. Overall, it's a great item to have on hand. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm loving this EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station. This 700 amp jump starter delivers enough power to start up nearly any passenger vehicle. Perfectly compact we took this with us on a camping trip and the usb definitely came in handy as well as the led light. It is light weight and super portable. It has three USB ports & its rechargeable. It has a battery indicator to let you know when it’s running low. The light is super bright and the handle is easy to grip. Definitely recommend

The Jump Starter comes fully charged and has a nice clear label on it. It has an easy handle and doesn't feel heavy like many other jump starters I have had in the past. Here are what I like about this product. - It has 3 USB ports (3.1A total) with a Separate USB Power Switch. - Light Weight - Easy to Read Labels - 3 Light Indicator Battery Level (Low, Med, Full) - Reverse Polarity Indicator - Equipped with a Small Pivoting LED Light (in case you need it in the dark) What I think it needs improvement - Doesn't come with a cable to charge itself. Just a hidden plug in the back of the unit - Charging Clamps (Red and Black) is super heavy duty and I have a hard time squeeze them out with my small hand. - No Air Compressor Function

We have used it to charge our cell phones when we traveled north during the weekend. Also, my darling grandson powered an upright 18" fan for a few hours a couple of nights ago while at my granddaughter's home, where he slept in a room that does not get much air conditioning. The "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" proved to be a success with what we used it for. The "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" is definitely made very sturdy. It has a very strong hard shell. We especially like that each of the charger cables have comfortable hooks on the side of the charger where the cables are wound for storage, and the terminal clamps have each a place on the back of the charger where they are firmly clamped out of the way. No hanging wires or terminals anywhere! We also very much like that the "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" has a meter indicating how much charge it has via three small lights under the "Battery Level" indicator. Two small red lights, one for low charge, one for medium charge. A green light indicates full charge. A big WOW!!! item of the "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" is that it has a great very strongly made carrying handle!!! Transporting it is a breeze! In my opinion, there is one thing that can be improved. The "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" is charged with an extension cord that is not supplied! Then, the two prongs to be attached to the extension, stick out of the charger directly. Nothing wrong with that. However, the prongs have a cover which when removed, hangs down loose, and interferes a bit when attaching the extension cord for charging. Other than that, it is great to always have an "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" handy in case of an emergency. Especially when the freezing weather drains the batteries and we must rush to get to work, drive the kids to school, etc... Must add, the "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" has attached a powerful LED light which is great for so many things which we all know about. Goodness! Especially for when we have to change a tire at night! Or look at the motor to check if we can see why it stalled! I can just see how the "EverStart MAXX J309ES 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Power Station" will prevent a lot of headaches and aggravation during emergency circumstances!

The description is misleading. There is no compressor on this unit. Also, would not start a dead battery after charging for 3 hours. You get what you pay for. I guess the $39 price tag was too good to be true. WIll be returning to give the $99.00 - 12 amp version with compressor a try.
