This product is great with the scent, the expansion and the ease of getting the product through your whole beard, however the hold on this wax is bit strong enough for thick coarse hair! The consistency of this item is more of a buttery feel and not so wax so this may work for those whom have stringy hair but definitely not for thick and curly hair! I prefer to use Shea moisture beard balm products which has a promising strong holdup for any type of beard while it gives your beard a healthy look with shine, body and a great long lasting scent. Wouldn't buy this again, actually I returned it. It was hard as candle wax, couldn't really smell the sandlewood scent. Just gave 1 star 🌟 to be NICE !!
