I give this item a one star for receiving an open package that was returned before from a previous customer. The filter had the cover on but when I took it off water started leaking out, that tells me that someone bought it before took it home inserted the filter and then took it out and returned it. The package was opened with tape holding it closed. I still used it.

Despite running more than 15 gallons through this filter, a chlorine/chemical taste remains which is unusual for these filters on my Whirlpool fridge. This is the first replacement filter I've bought over the years that doesn't seem to flush clean. Going back to the used/old filter was slightly better taste which seems to indicate it's not a problem with my lines.

Faulty item. This is what I needed the right size. It fits and went in but water barely comes out. What a waste of money! I would not buy this. Also it does not look like the picture if that matters packaging wise.

I've always used this exact water filter but had to order from another direct company. Had to wait for it to be shipped. When I saw Walmart started selling this filter I was elated; as it saved me a phone call and knowing I was getting a fair price.

Is not correct. I even used “Sparky” to verify if it is correct filter for my whirlpool refrigerator-it's totally different

Because I had to purchase a new refrigerator a day after purchasing the Whirlpool Filter, I never used this product.

Everything good with the product, just continue to be shocked how expensive these filters are no matter where I purchase them (i.e. Walmart, Amazon, Lowes, etc.)
