This was a replacement filter for my refrigerator water and ice maker. Fit perfectly and there was a significant change in quality and taste of water and ice from the refrigerator. What also helped was that I had to replace the refrigerator icemaker as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the EveryDrop Refrigerator Water Filter 5 in my Whirlpool fridge, and it's been working really well so far. Installation was quick and easy, and I noticed an improvement in the taste of both water and ice almost immediately. The water tastes cleaner and fresher, with no strange aftertaste. I like that this filter is certified to reduce multiple contaminants, including microplastics and heavy metals, which gives me extra peace of mind for everyday drinking water. The filter feels well-made and secure once installed, and the built-in security seal makes it feel genuinely authentic. Another plus is that it lasts up to six months, so it's low maintenance and easy to keep track of replacements. Overall, this is a reliable, genuine refrigerator filter that does exactly what it promises—clean, great-tasting water straight from the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that the value of the product is quite good and significantly improves the waters ‘s overall taste. Installation was quite easy, There was no decrease in water flow. Initially, it was not apparent that you needed to dump the first gallon or so of water. Happy so far with the product however I would like to see third-party testing of the water post filter and pre-filter to determine if it is truly effective.

I purchased the recommended Everydrop #5 to replace a leaky after market filter. Unfortunately the Everdrop filter does not fit into the housing of my older Kitchenaid fridge model KSRG25FKSS03. I have had to shut off the water supply to my fridge. Heading into Christmas when we will be receiving 20 guests I do not have a functioning water or ice dispenser. Reading previous reviews I see this is a recurring problem which Everydrop is aware of and this leaves me very upset. Attached is a photo showing the difference between the Everyfesh filter and the one that fits but leaks.
