I am SO happy i own this now. I missed the original release so I was bumped when this set came on the second market to ridiculous prices. I got this one for $26. Amazing price. I live the design. I honestly don't know why, but I do. The movie is great too, andvideo and audio are excellent.

This sequel to the franchise was a commendable continuation of the series. The allure of its packaging was the primary factor that prompted me to seek out this particular item.

Product was in great condition and easy pick up process. The movie itself is refreshing giving gore and jump scares. Film quality is crispy and sharp with amazing colors.

Great movie, everything was well acted, CGI looked kinda funky but that's expected and normalized nowadays. I remember the last time I was flabbergasted with effects was with the one directed by Alvarez. The blood rain was amazing! Anyways, great steelbook, looks fine!

Upgrading and completing my Evil Dead collection. The steelbook was cool. i'd prefer to have had the gore soaked cheese grater art to be on the empty side of the inside cover rather than covered by the discs but it's a minor gripe. The special features were a little on the paltry side but still fine, it's the only version with any special features at all if I understand correctly. Despite being a pretty dark(visually speaking) movie overall the 4k scan of the film looks pretty good and Rise overall is a very good movie for an Evil Dead flick without Bruce Campbell. Very reminiscent of the original in terms of tone and pacing. Not a funny movie, it's visceral and relentless. Lily Sullivan's portrayal of the possessed mom really makes this movie worth watching and rewatching. she has some moments that are downright bone chilling even on rewatches.
