[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality metal chop saw at a good price. Cut 20' material (1×2, 2x2, and 1 1/2× 1 1/2 angle.) To cut accurately required saw to be leveled as well as the material. Cutting long material at 45 degrees also requires turning the saw 45 degrees.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used fiber, disc chopsaw, and several different types of band saws and they never cut quite square or clean. This saw cuts smoothly and very quickly through the metal. Even though I bought the lowest end 14 inch saw, it has all the power in the world to cut through things. I still don't understand how everything is cool to the touch right after it is cut, but that's a nice little safety feature. Fantastic product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Upgraded from the smaller 7 1/4 This thing isa beast and has made cutting steel tube so much easier and saved me a ton of time!
This saw is reasonably priced and it's performance is that of a saw priced many times higher.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best metal saw for a small shop lot less mess than the chop saw and cleaner more accurate cuts thanks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made de Exceed my spectation, accurate cuts, I have used it for a couple off weeks and so far no complaints, i will recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw has worked great so far cutting 4x6 1/4" wall mild steel tube stock with the metal-specific blade I bought with the saw. I had used my brother's S14CPS previously and didn't realize this model doesn't have the quick-release clamp. Deducting one star because that seems a little cheap to not include that feature on this model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good saw but should have a with release so you're not cranking it for days
This is my 3rd one over a 3 year period. To be fair I am using them in a commercial setting making about a 80 cuts per day. The saw itself holds up very well power is good the movement is precise and it is easy to change the blade with the built in allen tool holder. . The reason I have to replace them is the switch in the handle goes bad. Would be nice if it went back to bolting on the saw to the base makes it easier to change out your saw if your base is in a fixed position or attached to a fence as in my case.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to cut miters in metal tubing. It struggled to make more than 5 cuts with a new blade. Blades are very expensive..
