[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this saw and the metal blade to easily and cleanly cut 2x2x1/4 wall square tubing. And 2x2x1/4 angle. Super fast and easy. Very impressed. I did notice the bottom plate of the saw has a coating that was starting to peal off. I suspect the edge of what I was cutting scored and dragged the coating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the most well thought out portable circular saws available. It has a nice long power cord, a light that shines on the cut line, a bolt on adapter for hooking up a vacuum hose, a sturdy aluminum base plate, and a electric blade brake to stop the blade quicker than most portable circular power saws. I would highly recommend this saw. I also have the Evolution job site table saw; both products are well designed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Introduced to them through my company, tried their sliding compound saw and was impressed. Ordered a circular saw for my jobs and actually works better than my Dewalt did and is cheaper than a Dewalt replacement. It does well cutting through a multitude of materials compared to Dewalt.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful and compact. I've only had it for a short time, but I love it so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cut 2.5” pipe, heavy wall c-channel, and 2x3 angle like I was cutting lumber. Long sleeves and gloves are a must, along with eye protection, because it throws chips instead of sparks. Much faster than an abrasive blade. Wish I'd bought one sooner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have remodeled homes for over 30 years. I have had worm saws (too heavy) I have tried different brands. I saw the Evolution in a commercial. It look powerful with easy control. When I received it. I couldn't wait to use it. My first impression It cuts amazing. The steel blade is the only blade to use when remodeling a home. During demolition you hit lots of nails. This blade is not affected. It just cuts through. The best saw I have held.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this free as a promotion. I like it, it is good to know you can cut other materials as well. The light is good but stays on all the time. I find myself unplugging it if it is going to sit a while. Very smooth and powerful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice saw, used to cut 1/8 inch plate with multi material blade. I will be putting on the metal cutting blade for future projects.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to my tool set, I use it to cut 3/8 plywood to make templates for projects. It cuts amazing and is easier to use do to its size than my older saw.
Love the idea of being able to cut wood and metal. Going to be needing to cut metal for gates going to weld. Used it on plywood and cut like butter, but did splinter the back side pretty bad. Probably better choice of blade would be high tooth count for that. I didn't care was shelving and edge would be seen. Love that has a light built in. Guess may be night to have off switch on led, but on other hand lets you know it's still plugged in. Could just have like a little red indicator led for that though if that was a design goal.nice that has connector for vac too.
