[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the miter saw and stand. Both were built solidly and the quality is great. The saw cut like a charm and the stand provided a stable base. We look forward to finishing our project. Thanks to Evolution!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely impressed with the Evolution R255SMS-DB+. The dual-bevel function and sliding action make angled cuts fast and accurate, and the multipurpose blade slices through wood, metal, and plastic effortlessly. The build quality feels solid and professional, with smooth adjustments and great cutting capacity. Setup was simple, and it's been running flawlessly since day one. Definitely one of the best miter saws for the price—highly recommended for both DIY and professional use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw is very easy to use, handles well, and cuts beautifully. I had a single-bevel Evolution saw that i used and abused for ~10 years, and finally made the upgrade to the dual-bevel version. It cuts just as great (if not better) than the original, but I really appreciate the new handle layout (versus the vertical handle), and the dual bevel makes trim cutting significantly easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this saw about a month ago and it has been amazing so far. I tend to work wit both wood and metal around the farm, so the fact that this can handle both materials is very useful. Out of the box all of the measurements were dead on perfect so I didn't have to make any adjustments at all. I was concerned the slow motor speed might not be the best for wood cutting, but it makes absolutely beautiful cuts and I didn't have any issues with burning. Overall, this is probably the best bang for your buck saw out there in the 10" size class. If there are any negatives, it would be that the saw start up and cut speeds are a bit slow since it's engineered with the torque required to cut metal. It may not be the best saw for a fast paced construction site where speed counts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as my first “real” saw and I cannot tell you how happy I am with it. Cuts just about anything you can throw at it and cuts it well! I've used for several projects for work and around the house super nice having the long power cord that's a game changer. Very nice fit and finish built extremely durable and if anyone is on the fence about buying a saw I'd hands down buy this one!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this saw to compliment my evolution table saw for quick and easy crosscuts. I use a fine finish wood blade and with little calibration it cuts perfectly accurate at any angle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoy the saw, once I assembled it. Assembly was very easy to do. Has met my expectations and then some. Actually have some friends that are purchasing their evalution mitersaw as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw about a month ago, and have made several cuts with it. The angles are accurate and the saw has a smooth feel to it. The blades didn't really last long at all, but have since found another brand that has been holding up better than the steel/stainless blades I purchased with the machines.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is for multiple materials, this was purchased to cut steel siding and it works well for that. Cuts a clean and burr free, with no scotching of the finish. Quality seems decent. it arrived slighlu out of plumb and figuring out how to adjust was a challenge due to the layout and size of the manual
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a project I was doing. I made probably 24 cuts on #4 rebar and started one 1/4” thick c-channel. All the carbide tips were gone half way through that channel. Ended up oxyacetylene torching the rest of the project
