Evolution RAGE4: Multi-Material Cutting Chop Saw With 7-1/4 in. Blade

This little chopper is amazing! Bought the mild steel blade for it and the chop saw table. Cut through tubing and angle like it wasnt even there. Love evolution and their products. Dont waste money anywhere else. Buy evolution today

Cho ose evolution model because of reviews, works really well on small Sq tube and flat material. Great price for a DIY project. Leaves clean cuts with blade provided.

Excellent saw for cutting weld ready metal. I also used it to cut some wood and it did just fine with that too. But it's really more so designed for metal. I purchased an optional Evolution blade made solely for metal and it cuts like a knife through warm butter.

Other than having to figure out how to install the blade, it cut through tubing as advertised. I was surprised at the power of the motor as there was no stalling at any time. The only recommendation I can make is to have a larger and clearer photo of how to install the blade.

I really didn't expect a lot of saw when I bought the RAGE4, but I was really impressed. The action was smooth, the fence was dead accurate and it sliced through the aluminum bar stock like butter. The only complaint was it had a really cheap chain that's used to hold the saw in the lowered position for storing

The saw works as expected, quick effortless cuts however the blade longevity is poor. I went through the blade included with the saw as well a second Evolution Power Tools Steel Cutting Saw Blade cutting 3/16" angle iron. It didn't last near as long as expected before requiring sharpening. An expensive lesson.
