Evolution S210CCS 8-1/4" Heavy Duty Metal Cutting Circular Saw w/Chip Collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the smaller saw for a few years and it’s been useful. Needed an upgrade to cut some 3/8” plate for a project. I also have the mitering TCT chopsaw. Evolution is the best in the game for value/quality in this class of tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Evolution metal cutting circular saw is a great tool and make straight cuts! The quality is great and it is heavy duty built to last. I was able to cut 1/4" mild steel for my metal working workbench top like butter. I also own the Evolution S355MCS: Metal Cutting Mitering Chop Saw With 14 in. Mild Steel Blade, which is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive only used it a couple times and cut about 14 feet of 1/4" steel so far. I was impressed at how clean and smooth the cuts were. Very few sparks and probably 80% of the chips were captured if not more. Much nicer cuts than using the plasma cutter. Will be using it again this weekend to cut a bunch of 1/8" diamond plate.

The saw works surprisingly well for what is. I figured the blade would last a lot longer than it did. Couldn’t complete the small job I had planned for it because the blade is ruined with what I considered light use.
