Small Project Tool
The mitre box works great for the small craft projects we do. We wanted a light duty tool and this does the job just right.

Better than trying it "free hand."
I use this for a number of projects, but mostly for cutting carbon and aluminum arrows shafts. It's a great alternative to those expensive arrow saws.

Great for crafts
Definitely for crafters- the saw has 42 tpi and doesn't cut wood very well- really worked up a sweat! may be ok for balsa wood, thin plastic or maybe foam. Seems to be well made and sturdy- just didn't work for what I needed it for!

Miter box is great but the saw is bad.
The handle doesn't stay on and the blade is dull. My suggestion would be buy the box only and buy a different saw. I have 3 other saws that get the job done. It makes a perfect miter and my project looks lovely.
